Re: Off topic...Request

It was just some more insults: repost and I will restore it but I have posted the meaning of Myths as songs or sermons or "ministries" not directly devoted to "teaching the Word as it has been taught."

It's the thread header "Topic Message". You did an edit and added "[Orpheus in Romans 14 and a church near you". But, I guess it is just another moderator advantage (tennis term) that Donnie spoke about a while back. It only requires another EDIT to restore to original. But leave it as is and thanks for trying to help.

since it seemed directed at me I took the liberty: Donnie would never do such a thing. I hope you had some LOGOS instead of some MUTHOS on Sunday. I doubt that a LOGOS assembly exists any more so I am still living in the long, long ago and far, far away. Too bad.

The new and approved version of "Hey, I can collect your money and then turn it into a Baptist church" at Quail springs grew from 900 to about 600 almost instantly and since "fellershiping" with the Baptists have grown to 300 and can no longer pay the bills so they are trying to sell it.

The preacher imported to Hohenwald to try the Adcox Purpose Driven Dodge helped grow my old church from close to 350 to about 150 now, is now at Quail Springs in some kind of STAFFY job.

My old Church in Murfreesboro is now going for the DISCIPLING DILEMMA. They must have spent 12 to 15 million to double the attendance while the city probably grew 5 five fold.

Sarge,

That you remember when I spoke sometime ago about editing capabilities as a moderating advantage [only after a post has been published] ... is remarkable!!! [As you know, a poster has editing features available before submitting a post by first clicking the "Preview" button. Anyone should take advantage of this option as s/he will be able to do the view-and-edit cycle prior to clicking the "Respond!" button.] Of course, I realize this is not the case here.

I can understand Ken's decision regarding this matter: before and after. Ken, a Christian brother with humility and patience, has been subjected to severely insulting, abusive and derisive comments -- and worse coming from any strong supporter of CM in the past, whose egotistical interest is more in those comments than in engaging in the discourse. (I also would have asked the same as Ken -- if you had a copy of your original post to be restored or re-posted.)

I appreciate your understanding also. Thank you for your participation. Even though you have contributed by posting quite regularly, we still consider you as a guest -- a special guest.

BTW, we now know what the original title was/is. One true evidence is the FIRST unedited response to your initial thread: "Re: Mythology, Fables, Yarns" ... by Ken.

I don't claim power to "read beyond the sacred pages." I must have some kind of guardian angel as promised. For instance, a preacher is a kerusso who is a HERALD and the SINGULAR command of Jesus was to GO and teach.

Acts 8:28 Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.
Acts 8:32 The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:
Acts 15:21 For Moses
.....of old time
.....hath in every city
.....them that PREACH him,
.....being READ in the synagogues
.....every sabbath day.

They sabbath of Jesus is PAUO which means stop the rhetoric, singing, playing, acting or other BODY worship which brings on PANIC (aka Pan the cappella)

I must have some kind of talent: I can read the word READ and not have it come out PREACH or SING. When I see READ it comes straight to my brain as READ. I have to believe that to be special.

And when you PREACH the Word by READING the Word common sense lets me grasp that READING on the REST day should silence all of the LEGALISM: rhetoric, singing, playing or acting is a CRAFTSMAN task and you must follow strict LAWS to perform them so that all of the "audience" will say "what a cute, cuddly singing sister are I."

I may also have some kind of insight: The Spirit OF Christ for the Church, ekklesia or synagogue specificially SILENCED rhetoric, singing, playing instruments or any kind of noise or body motion which would say (as in Ezekiel 33) we do NOT want to hear anything from you.

So, again the SUPERNATURAL act of giving DISCIPLES A holy spirit or A good conscience which just means a CO-perception of the Word written in BLACK text on BROWN paper.

We are washed with water INTO the Word or Into the School of Christ in the Prophets and Apostles. It takes some kind of blindness and deafness to spend fortunes setting up WORSHIPING INSTITUTIONS instead of SCHOOL for DISCIPLES.

...........................THE BOOK

What Happened at the Madison Church of Christ?

There are thousands of churches being taken over across America.

This book is only about one of those churches. It's about the Madison Church Of Christ. By studying the methods used here along with the resource references you might be able to inoculate your church. At the very least you will recognize the signs early on.

Many of the current members of the Madison Church of Christ still don't know what happened.
Some never will know! This book is for them as well.

Madison Church of Christ was a 60 year old church. At one time it was one of the largest churches in the US, and the largest Church of Christ.

It thrived for many years on the vision of it's elders and those of it's ministers. Those visions undoubtably came from the the inspired word of Jesus Christ.

At sometime in the last 10 years there was a deliberate plan by a majority of the elders to take the Madison Church of Christ into a more worldly realm.

They used secrecy, covert planning, and outside sources to scheme and to change the format and direction of the Madison Church of Christ.

The Elders knew that the membership would never approve such a plan. Using the tools of the "Community Church Movement"(consultants, books, seminars, meetings, planters, seeders) they slowly started initiating change so it was never noticed by the members until it was too late.....

At the heart of the plan was the fact that old members were going to be driven off so new techniques could be used to go out and reach the unchurched through new "Contemporary Holy Entertainment" methods developed by the "Community Church Movement"

Old members had to be kept on board long enough to get their plans ready, or the funds would not be there to pay for the new building. So by the plans very nature, it had to be secret.

The church had no plan in effect to renew or approve elders. There was never any need. The elders had always been "as approved by God". 10 of the last 15 elders would begin to shed some doubt on that.

The Elders did not even need a majority at first, because some of the elders went along unwittingly.

This edition starts shortly after some of the members begin to smell something strange in January 2001. Later editions may go back and fill in some of the timeline.

To even start to understand whats happening here, you must read the background materials in the first of the book.

This is only the first edition, and not the end. New editions will be printed as needed. To keep abreast of current changes, please visit our web site; http://www.concernedmembers.com/madison

Here is the list of players;

5 Godly Elders
10 Not so Godly Elders
120 "Deacons" (allegiance unknown)
2,800 - 4,000 church "members"
2 "teners" (people who have publicly confessed to have broken all ten commandments)
Unknown number of "sinners" (This is what the 10 elders call us.)
Unknown number of "demons" (Flying everywhere, to many to count)
