What's going on here? Does SBC have a forum? I know that you've quoted articles/messages from the Baptist site. There is no objection to that when the intent is to discuss doctrinal issues.

Although network54 provides an option for a forum to be non-monitored [I think], CM is not likely to do that. There is a feature to identify who is currently online, but I think this requires one to have a permanent login ID with a password. This is an interesting feature.

He said "Justice has been recalled." I wonder what kind of factory defect he had?

Maybe he has to go back and clean up the Obama mess?

Why didn't I think of that -- that a "recall" implies a removal or corrective measure due to a defective product?

Is it possible that an SBC doctrine was faulty and is being recalled from those who blindly accepted it?

Is it possible that the SBC site that was not so kind to its monitored posters is now "kinder and gentler" and is recalling those posters?

I'm hearing this: "Southern Baptist Convention Elects 36-Y-O 'Radical' David Platt as President of International Mission Board"

http://www.christianpost.com/news/southern-baptist-convention-elects-36-y-o-radical-david-platt-as-president-of-international-mission-board-125480/

The Barack Hussein's (Barry Soetoro) mess is out of control and beyond recovery.

Re: Justice

Here is what they believe about baptism: the rise or Radical Discipleship is an end-time panic of the Discipling Ministry: they only way to make disciples is to make them into a crossroats, ICOC Shepherding ministry. Their credo about Baptism proves the impossibility of the ECUMENICAL or World View to read and Speak like Jesus spoke.

Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing

the BELIEVER's faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Saviour, the believer's death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus.

It is a testimony to his faith in the final resurrection of the dead.

Being a church ordinance, it is prerequisite to covenant of church membership.

1Pet. 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
1Pet. 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer [REQUEST FOR] of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

We REQUEST A good conscience or consciousness which in Acts 2:38 is A holy spirit without which one cannot READ or HEAR the prophecy and fulfilment about baptism.

Baptism does not TESTIFY to your anything: Jesus Christ made baptism THE INSTRUMENTAL MEANS by which we REQUEST something: not proof that we are sanctified and SO HOLY that we SYMBOLIZE our goodness by being baptized. WITHOUT WHICH, they say "you will not be a member of THIS institution."

THE FAITH is the Faith of Jesus Christ. THE FAITH is contrasted to THE LAW or FLESH. Our faith rests on the evidence presented by God and believing that does not ADD one to the Church. We are "Washed with water INTO the WORD or into the School of Christ." Jesus does not accept people as disciples of HIM without any mediators just because they BELIEVE that Jesus is the FATHER'S Unique and Only Master Teacher.

Maybe he will correct that: it is reported that more than half of the SB believe that were are baptized FOR or in order to the remission of sins. John MacArthur noted that "it might be that Acts 2:38 means what it says."

Interesting Stat: Being Baptized TOWARD the Remission of SinsIn Order

December 25 2014, 11:16 PM

It is very interesting to me to note the report about the Baptists who believe that being buried with Christ in baptism is TOWARD the remission of sins -- a forward direction: in order for sins to be remitted. What a contrast that is to the doctrine that by faith (believing) one obtains salvation (is forgiven of sins) FIRST, then he is baptized later.

What about the "change agents" [preaching] in the church of Christ who hold that doctrine: "be saved by faith; be baptized later"?

Surprising, too, is John MacArthur on Acts 2:38 when he noted: "it MIGHT be that Acts 2:38 MEANS what it says."

But Acts 2:38 MEANS what it says. The Greek preposition "eis" which means "toward" (or "so that" or "in order to" or "unto") is the key to understanding the purpose of baptism. It is a forward (not retroactive) motion or direction.

Just,

Madison's website must have copied its "What We Believe" page from a Baptist Church's website. Or, from a Community Church's site. We've discussed this quite extensively -- that the Madison eldership needs to clean up the "doctrine" page. Separating salvation (forgiveness of sins) from baptism is a serious doctrinal error.

...........................THE BOOK

What Happened at the Madison Church of Christ?

There are thousands of churches being taken over across America.

This book is only about one of those churches. It's about the Madison Church Of Christ. By studying the methods used here along with the resource references you might be able to inoculate your church. At the very least you will recognize the signs early on.

Many of the current members of the Madison Church of Christ still don't know what happened.
Some never will know! This book is for them as well.

Madison Church of Christ was a 60 year old church. At one time it was one of the largest churches in the US, and the largest Church of Christ.

It thrived for many years on the vision of it's elders and those of it's ministers. Those visions undoubtably came from the the inspired word of Jesus Christ.

At sometime in the last 10 years there was a deliberate plan by a majority of the elders to take the Madison Church of Christ into a more worldly realm.

They used secrecy, covert planning, and outside sources to scheme and to change the format and direction of the Madison Church of Christ.

The Elders knew that the membership would never approve such a plan. Using the tools of the "Community Church Movement"(consultants, books, seminars, meetings, planters, seeders) they slowly started initiating change so it was never noticed by the members until it was too late.....

At the heart of the plan was the fact that old members were going to be driven off so new techniques could be used to go out and reach the unchurched through new "Contemporary Holy Entertainment" methods developed by the "Community Church Movement"

Old members had to be kept on board long enough to get their plans ready, or the funds would not be there to pay for the new building. So by the plans very nature, it had to be secret.

The church had no plan in effect to renew or approve elders. There was never any need. The elders had always been "as approved by God". 10 of the last 15 elders would begin to shed some doubt on that.

The Elders did not even need a majority at first, because some of the elders went along unwittingly.

This edition starts shortly after some of the members begin to smell something strange in January 2001. Later editions may go back and fill in some of the timeline.

To even start to understand whats happening here, you must read the background materials in the first of the book.

This is only the first edition, and not the end. New editions will be printed as needed. To keep abreast of current changes, please visit our web site; http://www.concernedmembers.com/madison

Here is the list of players;

5 Godly Elders
10 Not so Godly Elders
120 "Deacons" (allegiance unknown)
2,800 - 4,000 church "members"
2 "teners" (people who have publicly confessed to have broken all ten commandments)
Unknown number of "sinners" (This is what the 10 elders call us.)
Unknown number of "demons" (Flying everywhere, to many to count)
