Re: The second mention of the Tithe

July 6 2017, 11:19 PM

The Levites never performed what we consider spiritual TASKS which took place in the very isolated arrears where the gathered for Synagoge which was to READ and understand the WORD.

To this point the tithe was consumed by the farmer when everyone got together for "summer camp" at the festivals. Here are some of the roles the faithful Levites performed to EARN THEIR OWN LIVING. It would be fine to invite the preacher to chicken dinner or potluck since he is away from his won resources.

The Levites to be teachers of the nation (Deuteronomy 24:8; 33:10; 2 Chronicles 35:3; Nehemiah 8:7).

They judges of the land, and in the time of Ezra they were the sole members of the Sanhedrin — the Supreme Court of the nation (Deuteronomy 17:8–9; 21:5; 1 Chronicles 23:4; 2 Chronicles 19:8; Ezekiel 44:15, 24)

Most medical services were in their care (Leviticus 13:2, 14:2; Luke 17:14).

They were professional singers and musicians (1 Chronicles 25:1–31; 2 Chronicles 5:12; 34:12).

Producers of books and librarians were almost exclusively Levites (2 Chronicles 34:13).

They were responsible for law enforcement (1 Chronicles 23:4) — they were the "sheriffs" (Moffatt).

Many of the Levites were architects and builders (2 Chronicles 34:8–13).

They were the Professional Trades and the Temple was CIVIL and MILITARY. The king and commanders of the army appointed the Levites to play loud noise after the wars were over.

Deut. 24:8 Take heed in the plague of leprosy, that thou observe diligently, and do according to all that the priests the Levites shall teach you: as I commanded them, so ye shall observe to do.
2Chr. 30:22 And Hezekiah spake comfortably unto all the Levites that taught the good knowledge of the Lord: and they did eat throughout the feast seven days, offering peace offerings, and making confession to the Lord God of their fathers.
2Chr. 35:3 And said unto the Levites that taught all Israel, which were holy unto the Lord, Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David king of Israel did build; it shall not be a burden upon your shoulders: serve now the Lord your God, and his people Israel,
Neh. 8:9 And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the Lord your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law.

The Levites were "poor" like Paul when they were faithful and went out to teach. However, when they were in their own. However, they had 48 cities and when not on the GO they fed themselves and paid for whatever they needed. The tite was FOOD ONLY to be consumed ON DUTY or stored up when there was a surplus.

When Paul went out to preach it would be reasonable if the local people fed him, housed him and sent him on his way. However, Paul said that the living (food) due to the priests or Levites could not be claimed because it would DISABLE the power of the Gospel. He got his support from his sending friends and said THIS IS THE PATTERN.

Refuting David Young one of my last "investment advisers"

July 6 2017, 12:15 PM

The important tithing messages came long before the elders FIRED God and demanded a king whom God warned would TAKE your property and give it to his STAFF. The same theme never changes: that the tithe was for an assembly where food--only would be supplied by the person who brought the FOOD ONLY and shared with the poor including the Levites.

Deuteronomy or the SECOND LAW was written before the Instrumental-Trinitarian-Perverted idolatry at Mount Sinai. Romans 1 proves that this musical idolatry always leads to perversion.

Many passages including Isaiah 1 and Jeremiah 7 written to define the future assembly inclusively and exclusively prove that God did not command sacrifices or burnt offerings. The Levites were locked up in the temple grounds to HIDE the horrors of the HOLOCAUST from the godly people and the FOOD ONLY was a daily dole of food only.

So far we have seen God's MARK upon those who intimidate people into giving money to be used, in the words of John Calvin, feed the lazy asses guaranteeing that the godly Plowing Oxen cannot be sent out to harvest the field

Get Your Goat
To aggravate someone.

The saying "Get Your Goat" supposedly originated from the early horse racing days, where goats were kept with nervous race horses to keep them calm before the race, and if you wanted to beat the competition you would get their goat causing their horse to become agitated and unable to race.
Don't let him bother you, he's just trying to get your goat.

Re: What about tithing? Added Southern Hills Abilene Jarrod Robinson

July 7 2017, 11:12 AM

Firstfruits were not tithes but the first cluster of grapes or "eldest". That included the offering of first born sons UNLESS they were redeemed. Let the false teachers claim that they can redeem their first child. We noted that BEFORE the total abandonment of the nation after the ELDERS fired God and demanded a Senior Preaching Pastor. Anyone who have read the "Samuels" understands that God washed His hands of the nation and promised that He would not save them from the captivity and death they "earned" at Mount Sinai.

The FOOD ONLY was to feed the farmers and the Levites who were on rotating duty and would not be able to leave the enclosed gates. This would only be for national called assemblies.

The third year tithe was stored up in the "food closet". This was a "fellowship meal." However the Year of Tithing, the Third year Food Only was for widows, orphans, strangers and the Levites who would be on the GO as teacher or other Civil Servant.

Hezekiah's Plague Stopping effort to stop the sacrifice and HOLOCAUST of the infants by substituting Goats comes next where, again, the FOOD ONLY was to be brought to the Temple area where the garbage of the Assyrians was being destroyed including their INSTRUMENTS.

This is the Worship Pattern just before and after 2 Chronicles 29. Better to BURN a child than REDEEM it! Even here, they lie: when the Levites played or sounded the musical instruments it was by the COMMAND OF DAVID and not God.

The other mention of Tithes is during the attempt to restart the Sacrificial System in Jerusalem. Nehemiah had to pull some hair to get the Levites to come to the Temple. This lasted for a short time and the Temple went silent.

In part B, FOOD ONLY was to be brought to the Temple as a way to keep the Levi (only) to keep them from FORSAKING THE HOUSE. This was a daily dole of food-only and if a preacher claims the role of priests or musician let them be locked up in the "church house" and give them a daily dole of food.

And Laying By in Store

July 8 2017, 1:18 PM

It is hard to get Dianna to post but we appreciate a key question if one wants to be a faithful Disciple of Christ.

We showed that the tithe in the wilderness would be very small because one's little flock might never INCREASE as profit to the TENTH new lamb.

The first and second tithes of a three-year cycle was to be consumed by the owner at a central gathering place and shared with the poor who would include Levites. In Exodus 18

is the PATTERN for the Assembly as synagogue or ekklesia which was continued in the Church as a School of the Word only and was to be led by leaders over as few as ten families. This was always the rule for establishing a synagogue which was not a mega church and had no STAFF.

The work of the Levites was to bear the BURDEN of the Synagogue after Israel fell from grace and bear the burden of their OWN INIQUITY. This was a CARNAL institution and is the pattern of those groups who need to be big and popular.

Jesus paid it all and the Spirit OF Christ commanded disciples not to pay for the FREE WATER OF THE WORD.

Isaiah 55 shows the identity of Spirit and Word. While Lenski outlaws paying for the WORD and Isaiah 8 says of those who do not SPEAK THE WORD that THERE IS NO LIGHT IN THEM.

Listen carefully and see that most "light" is about the preacher in these last days.

Jesus paid the Temple Tax and said that children of the King do not pay taxes: a laded burden is arousal music and "taxes not in time of war."

There is no command to Lay By At Church in the Bible. "Lay by him" has the same meaning of the farmer who sold grain and LAID BY HIM the money which HE would spend on himself and the poor at the yearly assemblies.

Lay by in store

July 8 2017, 8:09 PM

Having collections in the assembly could put a temptation in our brother's way. The monies could be used for things that in which we have no authority. Some inventions initially sound like wonderful ideas, but in the end lead us astray.

I realize there are expenses to paid when operating a building. Perhaps this is why most church of Christ meeting houses were simple structures without much ornamentation.

...........................THE BOOK

What Happened at the Madison Church of Christ?

There are thousands of churches being taken over across America.

This book is only about one of those churches. It's about the Madison Church Of Christ. By studying the methods used here along with the resource references you might be able to inoculate your church. At the very least you will recognize the signs early on.

Many of the current members of the Madison Church of Christ still don't know what happened.
Some never will know! This book is for them as well.

Madison Church of Christ was a 60 year old church. At one time it was one of the largest churches in the US, and the largest Church of Christ.

It thrived for many years on the vision of it's elders and those of it's ministers. Those visions undoubtably came from the the inspired word of Jesus Christ.

At sometime in the last 10 years there was a deliberate plan by a majority of the elders to take the Madison Church of Christ into a more worldly realm.

They used secrecy, covert planning, and outside sources to scheme and to change the format and direction of the Madison Church of Christ.

The Elders knew that the membership would never approve such a plan. Using the tools of the "Community Church Movement"(consultants, books, seminars, meetings, planters, seeders) they slowly started initiating change so it was never noticed by the members until it was too late.....

At the heart of the plan was the fact that old members were going to be driven off so new techniques could be used to go out and reach the unchurched through new "Contemporary Holy Entertainment" methods developed by the "Community Church Movement"

Old members had to be kept on board long enough to get their plans ready, or the funds would not be there to pay for the new building. So by the plans very nature, it had to be secret.

The church had no plan in effect to renew or approve elders. There was never any need. The elders had always been "as approved by God". 10 of the last 15 elders would begin to shed some doubt on that.

The Elders did not even need a majority at first, because some of the elders went along unwittingly.

This edition starts shortly after some of the members begin to smell something strange in January 2001. Later editions may go back and fill in some of the timeline.

To even start to understand whats happening here, you must read the background materials in the first of the book.

This is only the first edition, and not the end. New editions will be printed as needed. To keep abreast of current changes, please visit our web site;

Here is the list of players;

5 Godly Elders
10 Not so Godly Elders
120 "Deacons" (allegiance unknown)
2,800 - 4,000 church "members"
2 "teners" (people who have publicly confessed to have broken all ten commandments)
Unknown number of "sinners" (This is what the 10 elders call us.)
Unknown number of "demons" (Flying everywhere, to many to count)
