What arrangements are you thinking of regarding the keep of Kerry. For example will the 'loaner' have to pay for livery, shoes, feed, vaccinations, worming, vets, insurance........

That seems alot to pay out for, if the loan is just for one year. Not alot of people would be willing to invest that sort of money (and properly care for the horse at the same time) in a horse that will be given back.
I sent my brilliant eventer out on loan and ended up taking him back after 2 months because he hurt his leg (or rather they did something so he pulled his leg)and they wouldn't pay the vets bill.
I paid for the shoeing which was done and insurance but isn't it funny how the things they had to pay for weren't done and when the going got a bit tough and he needed a bit of extra care and attention they couldn't be bothered becauses he wasn't their own.
Sorry to be a down in the dumps about this but i'd hate to see a perfectly good horse get ruined and messed about like mine did. She looks lovely on the website.

Thats why we are having a FULLY CONTRACTED loan,,,,I have always been under the impression that when a horse is for loan the loanee has to pay for it----otherwise what would be the point of you sending them out on loan - For youto pay for someone else to ride and compete them for you??? Unless of course they are serious proffesionals..
Thankyou for your response
LOAN CAN BE EXTENDED IF NEED BE
