hey you guys. i live in maine with a big 12' tide. there's lots of beachs with small slope so low tide gives a huge "parking lot" type arena. i built a classic and only have been able to beach sail during rain/wind storms cuz all the sunbathers. i've pushed my common sense and sailed with too crowded conditions on many occassions. well guess what. it's friggin sept, everyones off the beach, theres a 30 knot blow tomorrow, low tides at 1 pm, & i got the day off!

MET YOU ON THE ICE AT SEBAGO JORDANS BAY GREAT BOAT YOU HAVE BUILT GOES WITH THE WIND WILL BE SAILING THE BEACHES SHORTLY ICE MIGHT BE OUT FROM MAINE ALSO

How was your sail? I'm also a beach sailor here in Costa Rica, but we never get anywhere close to 30 knot winds. Have you had to change bearings yet?
