The forum does not seem to be very busy but I want to tell you that I just begin to built my own iceflyer. I live in the north of the province of Québec. The winters are cold and I will be ready for the next one. By now I do my favorite hobbey: sailboat on Saguenay river. Just give a look: http://www.genisim.qc.ca/5o5/cvs.htm

Ge'rald, welcome to the builders forum. The apparent lack of activity is probably because those who are building are spending their time making, chasing up bits or gluing and finishing! I am building the land flyer version and have passed the half way point. Plans worked out great with no difficulties. Is fully assembled but not yet glued up or finish coated. Am concentrating on all the hard ware at the moment. Mast helper is finished and now for the steering. You will find that this is a very enjoyable project. I live in Australia a long way from your ice and snow.Cheers and good luck. Best regards, Wes. Tyler.
