interest poll for Ice Flyer glass bodies?

My current glass Ice Flyer body almost "bit the dust" after I hit a big rock landsailing this last summer (not to mention hitting the ice ridge 2 years before and smashing many rocks over the years landsailing). I ended up repairing it and am currently sailing it but at the time when the bottom of the boat looked pretty grim, a few of us were talking about building another mold that would incorporate some fairly minor design improvements.

The shop who used to build the fiberglass bodies is interested in building a new mold and producing some more Ice Flyer bodies (just the fiberglass bodies only for now).

If you are interested in a glass body (you would deal direct with the shop making them in Greeley Colorado), please let me know. Keep in mind that there is no support for any other of the parts necessary except parts which are also used on DN's and there is still a fair amount of work just putting the body together. It would still be a big job buiding the complete boat!

I dont know what price they will charge, likely under $475?? plus shipping however..

Also, this is just checking for interest right now to see if the cost of the mold can be spread out a little. I know a at least a few are wanted around here but dont know about anywhere else.

Regards,

Forgot to add that the yellow boat in this video is essentially what the new shape is (video from last Saturday 11-29-03)

The main difference is that the bottom right under the seat is "flatter" so there is a little more clearance and there are some minor changes to accomodate sheet system changes.

This yellow boat is also the one which has hit the rocks, ridges and generally been severerly tortured over four years.

I've been reading the forum & contemplating builing for over a year, looks like this might be a good time. and no shipping costs for us in Denver.

I would be very interested in one of these bodies
Probably there would be some others in my area interested as well .
I built a type ice-flyer using the same dimentions with a metal fuselage and a aluminum rear beam which has an inverted airfoil works great.

I am currently building a land sailor out of metal using the design of the Ice-Flyer. I would be interested in one of the fiberglass bodies. I also have a couple of friends that might be interested.
