Does anyone out there have any experience (or opinions) about building Ice Flyer Classic bodies from marine-grade plywood?

I have use 3mm marine plywood for several sea kayaks. It is easy to cut and sand. I would glass both sides to increase mechanical strength and prevent excess flexing but it should work fine. Probably should consider 1/2" to 3/4" thicknesses.

I made a couple boats with 3/4" AC plywood...not marine ply...and have been sailing them for at least 5 or 6 years. The plywood can hold up to a lot of abuse. The only thing, is I believe it is somewhat heavier that spruce or fir or poplar would have been.
