I'm still getting responses from my posting last year requesting the locations of Ice Flyers/Wind Flyers worldwide. The results show there are no large concentrations of boats anywhere, but there are examples of groups of people getting together to build multible Ice Flyer Classics.
While I almost never see any Ice Flyers here in central Massachusetts, I know of 3 in Connecticut and 4 in Maine, so we will ultimately get together. I'm hoping my building one will motivate others in my group to build one also.
Let's hear from you if you haven't replied to my survey.

I'm in Moncton NB Canada. I built a Classic Ice Flyer 2 years ago and I just love it!
It turn out to be a very interesting project and also a learning experience with West System epoxy!
I did sail a few days past winter in the Montreal area and also on Champlain Lake, I had a blast!
I would like to see some more in this region as well, but for some reason it doesn't seems to attract a lot of people! If only they know all the adrenaline rush they are missing!!!
This fall I will built a side car for my daughter, she's 6 years old and she just love iceboating.
I first introduce her to iceboating 3 years ago with a previous ice boat that I had. Not sure about the look on the Iceflyer, but I'll give it a try.
Eric.
