Hello fellow Iceflyer enthusiasts. I just thought I’d share my project with everyone. I started to build this boat several years ago, but kids, jobs, moving, etc. got in the way. I finally have the time to work on it again, so I plan to sail it this season. Hopefully everything will come together on time.
Most of the woodwork is done, and I am currently applying the epoxy. In the instructions it says that glass may not be necessary. I split the difference and used glass in some areas, like the floor under the seat, and epoxy only in the rest.
As far as the windsurfing rig is concerned, I have about half of what I need, and I am confident Ebay will provide the rest.
How many other Iceflyers in Michigan?
