Hi!
I'm building another iceboat this year and i intended to use a foam core and put fiberglass on it.
my questions: Is there anything you have to put on top of the foam before putting the fiberglass and the epoxy? (filler??? what kind)
I have shaped and sanded the foam but there is still some joint and cracks.
what can i use to fill those cracks?
How many layers of fiber is necessary?
any helpful information for me ?
thanks a lot.
Stéphane

Have you looked at Dave Woodwards site:
http://www.davidwoodward.com/iceflyer/final.htm
He built a glass and styrofoam boat and his site has a lot of details on how he did it.
Good luck on your project.

Im not sure if this will be helpful at all since you may be experimenting but this link has some side by side pictures of a classic next to the glass boat.
