The facts are these - according to 'Devils GOB'

"I have the lease for the Wales National Ice Rink in front of me now and there is no clause which stipulates that professional - ISL or FBNL - ice hockey has to be played at all at the venue. So failure to stage such events could not possibly lead to
the surrender of the lease.

In the deal which saw the rink change hands from Bob Phillips to Brian Candy it stipulates that Brian Candy must stage professional ice hockey or ownership reverts to the previous owner who will then operate it as an ice rink with junior development and public skating until the lease expires in approx. five years.

So if your plan is to boycott the FBNL Cardiff Devils to death then you will only succeed in killing pro-ice hockey in the present rink in the forseeable future and consigning the glorious name of the Cardiff Devils to the scrapheap.

The present players are The one and only Cardiff Devils - they want to play their hearts out for you. They don't care who the owners are, they care where the fans are and at the moment you are on the pavement and on their backs - they deserve better. I suggest you meet the players and get to know them rather than turn your backs on them when they most need you ... NOW"

And you seriously expect us to believe you're NOT GOB Phillips in disguise
