as I said I dont think you are hitting him in his pocket. I believe my own opinion is that he did lose money on last years Devils as did eveyone before him and correct me if Im wrong the only club to make a profit was Bracknell the season before last. Im not saying that he lost money over all on the rink and the rink profits wasnt helping to subsidise the Devils but I have heard figures of 1.1 million pound was the devils costs last year less any income from gates sponsorship etc. Dont know how true that is. So he will still be profitable except we wont have any local snr hockey. As for the fods losing I dont think so as I said there is still ways and means of protesting and also a benefit to the ex players. I am only on this side of the fence because I can see what could and looks like happening if it carrys on and that is the demise of senior hockey in Cardiff for ever. Lastly as for sharing a pint or two I will gladly accomodate you ( as my wife says it doesnt take much of an excuse.
p.s. I dont know if your interested but I had the u19's fixture list last night dont know if your interested in posting it on the fods page but the first game is against Slough on the 22nd sept 7.45pm at home.
