The arguments/ ideas put forward by Bob Phillips that should Candy’s team fail he will have the lease as the rink on its own makes money. This was the same man who declared that the RINK lost £250,000 last year when he was attempting to put pressure on the council to give commitments for the new Arena.
His argument changes completely and so do the figures depending on who he is arguing against.
Anyways, back to the juniors debate. I take on board what you are saying with youngsters doubling up and playing with older kids, but as I understand from your comments this happened prior to the “change in ownership”. With the alleged change, the hours devoted to the juniors were halved from those immediately prior to the change were they not? Therefore the kids are worse off under Brian candy’s “ownership” of the rink.
As for what you said about the imports not being on the ice without being told to, surely that doesn’t make any difference. If they were there by choice or there by order – they were there!
