In answer to the jnr players yes they take on kids every year who want to play hockey, but they very rarely make the first team, that is why under BC Merv has formed a proper b team with ice time for games etc. A question for you now yes we all want hockey to the highest level (I have my doubts on the ISL league)but who is going to take over in 4yrs plus with no fan base no players etc (I believe no matter how hard you try BP will still be there at the end of the lease) So when you deprive Cardiff of a proffesional team it will go the same way as the Empire Pool, and I for one and I believe im not alone will blame all parties. The council would make far more money from the site if a hotel or a retail site was built on it. If that happens it will not affect the fods because they will be long gone reminicing over a pint can you remember when there was a proffesional team in Cardiff.
