Well stated Mr Jones, that’s why the fans raised a petition with over 5000 signatories asking the Council to build it. If the Council had agreed a start date as promised in February following Mr Goodway’s 100% promise in the Echo, and to Bob much earlier, there were many investors wishing to put money in to the current set up as did Bob last year when he was promised by the Council that "if he kept the Devils and the ice rink going", they would give him a new home in the future.

He did everything right in re-building the rink management team, the playing squad and many other positive things except gain the promise in writing that turned to a wish, apologise, "an aspiration" was the word used, to build it on time. Everyone has forgotten what happened last year or choose to forget.
