For myself I made the trek to london to see players on both teams who did us so well over the years, had all eight of these players now been playing for a bnl team then the trek would have been made to those locations. Those players were dumped on from a great height by messrs phillips and candy, and I for one went to show them that they are not forgotten!!
As for the players from this years team, well I am sorry, but they knew the score when they signed on the dotted line, the fact that so many of last years team were treated so badly would have made me for one just a teensy bit wary of signing to play for the same person. I wish them well in the future when we win, for whatever team is lucky enough to sign them, but as for feeling sorry for them as they will be out of a job, my first priority is to give my sympathies to the ones who went before.
