Stop talking about stuff you dont know.
There ARE several people/consortiums willing to take over the devils in both leagues.
Think about the BNL situation for a second
Say an average of 2000 fans a game - multiplied by price of an average ticket - (£8) - thats about £16,000 a game.
Multiply that by number of games (about 30?) - thats about £480,000 a season of income from ticket sales alone.
Now the wage cap is £100,000 - i believe - well that means that there is £380,000 to go on other expenditure. But when you remember that Cardiff was one of the best sponsored teams last season, and with other income - you are going to make a serious profit with a hockey club in Cardiff.
Hell, of Bob Phillips would let me, I'd take over the rink and team !!!!!
And IMO - with the financial support we had in Cardiff last year - a profit could/should have been made last year in the ISL too. |
