colorado for the cup again or maybe deroit if the old war horses last the whole season (probably half the current team will be in the hall of fame in the future!), but it will definitely be a western team as i think the only possible contenders from the east is philly and nj (toronto have gone backwards in my opinion by acquiring renberg and reichel) but philly's netminding is suspect when it comes to the crunch (though i know checmanek (spelling?) has won the world championships) and i think new jersey are always difficult to play against but will have difficulty against the big guns.
salt lake? this is an interesting one, the swedes and czechs are always contenders (i wish they werent cause it means salo will have to play even more games!) but the yanks and canadiens will also be up for it due to their last few showings and of course because of where it is!
