If you make a donation to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, please mention "lacrosse" in a note with the donation. At my request, in memory of my wife Brenda, the CBCF will then direct the funds to a facility seeking a "cure", rather than a "control".

Girls' Field Lacrosse Clinics - Brampton Minor Lacrosse

Brampton Minor Lacrosse is hosting free introductory Lacrosse Clinics for Girl's ages 10 to 13, interested in participating in our Recreational Houseleague Program this summer.

The Clinics are being held...

February 2nd & 9th
1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Kiwanis Centre for Youth & Sport
(McMurchy Avenue, just north of Steeles Avenue)

Loaner sticks, from Patterson Lacrosse, are available to borrow... so all you need is your running shoes and gym gear! This is a great opportunity to come out and give this exciting, noncontact sport a try and have some fun along the way.

Members of the BMLA will be on hand to answer your questions regarding our season... but basically we will be running our Recreational Level program from May 7th to July 23rd. Teams will practice Monday nights and play Tuesday nights at the former OPP Training Centre on McLaughlin Road and Queen Street. The cost is $80.

Brampton Minor Lacrosse operates a Girls Under 15 and a Girls Under 20 Field Lacrosse Team which competes in the OWFLA League. Lena Kandola is the head coach for the U15 while Audrey Kelly will be leading the Girls U20's this season.
