As someone who played box and boys field for a very long time, I actually like girls field alot. A rule here and there would probably make it better, but I don't think you'd have half as many serious lacrosse players.

Many girls throw hissy fits over having their knuckles checked, so I don't know if they could handle the constant slashing you get when you play boys field, although I'm positive some could.

Women's field is a great game to play as long as the refs give a little, and don't call every single minor infraction. It slows down the game too much. My personal preference is playing lacrosse in the states. Not only are they exceptionally talented players, they are tough, and play alot rougher defense than what we play here in Canada.

Well that's just my two cents
