U 19 Worlds in Peterborough

Great start for Canada last night in Peterborough. Huge crowd and Canada beats Australia 11 - 8.
I think it was the first win ever for a Canadian women's team over Australia at either U 19 or Senior.
Tougher game today in front of another large crowd as Canada fell 17 - 7 to a very strong US team. Canada held their own in the first half but the US took it to them in the second.
Canada versus England at 1:30 on Tuesday in Peterborough.
Check out the game; all players are from Ontario and lots of locals from Whitby and Orangeville.
