 Foundation, please mention "lacrosse" in a note with
 the donation. At my request, in memory of my wife
 Brenda, the CBCF will then direct the funds to a
 facility seeking a "cure", rather than a "control".

LAX FOR THE CURE

Hi Everyone, we are writing in regards to a 4 on 4 lacrosse fundraiser tournament being held on August 23rd by Brittney Boynton, Jayme Beard, and myself, in hopes that all of you will participate in a fun filled day of lacrosse to help find the cure to Breast Cancer! Whether you choose to play, ref, watch, or sponsor, it would all lead to a successful event!

Where: Orillia - Twin Lakes Secondary School
When: Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008
Time: TBA
Cost: $25 per person minimum (you may pay yourself or fundraise as much as you wish)

This is a 4 on 4 tournament, not including a goalie. If you can find your own goalie, that is great, if not we will supply your team with one! Games will be twenty minutes long, and subs are allowed if you wish. Each person is responsible to raise $25 or more which all proceeds will go to the Canadian Breast Cancer Society!

This is a competitive tournament therefore, prizes will be awarded to the top teams as well as the team who raises the most money! T-shirts for each team will be provided, with hopes to all be lax'n in pink!! We hope to have a great turn out and make this a fun event for all!

If you would like to put in a team, please have one person (team captain) email me back (amy_fincham@hotmail.com) with a list of your team roster (minimum of four players) with each persons age and club team, if on one, and we will send you pledge forms and further information, or if you will be at a lacrosse field, in the next couple of weeks please indicate that in your email and we will deliver them to you there.

If you cannot attend the event but would like to sponsor the event in anyway, please contact amy_fincham@hotmail.com.
