The Brand new SJ Arena at Niagara Falls is starting its season with a box lacrosse goalie clinic for minor age goaltenders.
It will be held August 27 and 28th at the new SJ Arena 427 First St in Niagara Falls NY.
Each day will be 3 hours of instruction for goalies only followed by a lunch with the instructor.
The instructor will be the Buffalo Bandits own Mike Thompson.
Younger aged goalies will be on Saturday the 27th and older ages on Sunday the 28th. The number of goalies is limited to 12 PER DAY!
Sessions will be 10am- 1pm and lunch at the beautiful Quality Inn at 1:30 with a Q and A period with Mike. Cost is 65.00 and includes lunch, t shirt and the 3 hours of instruction.
Lets face it, goalies have been the neglected position of many box teams, due to lack of experience by coaches or lack of knowledge. Not many camps or clinics focus on just the goalie as a position and not just a target.
