Only recently discovered Mics Music and i hav to say I'm astonished that I'd not heard of him before, He was an exceptional talent and I was gutted to hear about his tragic passing. I can't stop watching his videos on youtube and the way he made each song his own and the remarkable chemistry between himself and Glen. Its such a shame that he died so young and I'v no doubt he would have been hugely successful.
I feel sorry for people who have not discovered Mics music yet and will continue to spread the word amongst friends.
R.I.P Mic.

I have rediscovered Skylarkin after a couple of years and have been listening to it a lot lately. I am again surprised how strong it is and how fresh it still sounds. There seems to have been a lot of videos of Mic posted on youtube in the last year - Mic and Glen busking, (the Suspicious Minds cover at Vicar St. is incredible for its sheer joy), even some old Mary Janes tracks which astonished me. I was very young at the time and didn't remember them at all. All I can saw is wow! It's hard to believe they didn't have more success.
Mic's family and friends really did a very important thing in getting the album together and releasing it. Well done to all who have helped make his music available. I feel lucky to be able to hear and see some of his performances but it is a bittersweet realisation of a great talent taken in his prime.
