World Championship Turmoil

No one could expect the current state of events surrounding the CCW World Championship to have taken such a drastic turn over these past few weeks. Currently, the title is Vacant as a result of President Enigma stripping the former champion Malphias due to a series of no shows and a sudden disappearance. He then went on to name the Main Event for the next Pay Per View, CCW Out Of Control, as being Adrien vs. Specter Woven of Shadows, with stipulations to be named. Malphias has yet to be reached to get comment from him in regards to him being stripped of the championship, but we can only venture to guess that he is not too happy.
But what of the contenders? Why have they been selected?
Specter is one of the original Creatures to enter this organization. Her career has seen numerous championships, but one title has seemed to elude her grasp: The CCW World Championship. Earlier this year, Specter entered herself into the World Championship Tournament after The Dark Requiem relinquished the title following an award winning Casket Match between himself and Kveldulf ‘The Reaver’. She made it to the finals of the championship tournament, only to be bested by Malphias, who was placed into the match only due to Zahra being laid up with an injury. She had since took a step back to examine where she may have messed up and has been rumored to be having sparring sessions with an unknown individual in the CCW gyms. No one knows who this person is, but word has it from her own mouth that she is ready to get back in the ring and is ready to go out for the Gold.
Adrien, by comparison, is relatively new to the world of CCW and has made numerous impacts, one being a 5-time holder of the now retired CCW Hardcore Championship as well as joining with the Stable led by Malphias, known as The Sickness. However Adrien has struck out on his own, outright attacking Malphias in the World Title Finals match at Eve of Destruction. Adrien had also been in that tournament, only to be defeated by his opponent at Out of Control, Specter Woven of Shadows in the Semi Finals. Has he been granted this second chance as a way for President Enigma to get at Malphias again?
Regardless of the outcome, Out of Control will see the crowning of a new World Champion. Will it be the upstart, Adrien, or will history repeat itself and see Specter Woven of Shadows claim the one belt that has eluded her over the course of her career?
The Only way to find out will be to watch the Pay Per View – CCW Out Of Control, and find out.
