President Enigma has been making several waves in the way of Championships here in Creatures Championship Wrestling. Upon the announcement of his Presidency by CEO John Marlow, President Enigma had made waves already by stripping Malphias of the World Championship. Now though, he has made an announcement of another sort: One that threatens to rock this company to its foundations.
Recently, President Enigma has stripped yet another championship belt not only from around the waist of the champions, but also from contention as The Horsemen had been removed as World Tag Team Champions. As for the next champions, according to President Enigma, there will not be any such creature, as he is officially retiring said belts. What this means then is that all of the tag teams are now singles. His announcement did not end there however.
There is no secret that North American Champion Ripper and Storme are both members of The Hellfire Club: White, better known as The House of Ivory, With Ripper being a former ally to President Enigma. Perhaps that is why President Enigma seemed so pleased with his announcement of Ripper’s opponent for his North American Championship defense at CCW Out Of Control, his own brother in arms and former tag team partner, Storme, with a clause that if both men do not do battle, they will both be fired from CCW. What waves might this make in The House of Ivory, having both War and Death battling each other instead of the rest of the roster?
The Ripper has been in some serious matches as of late and more often than not has been coming out on the worst end of things in regards to injuries, though successfully retaining his title. Will this record keep up with him? We very well could see the crowning of a new North American Champion… or will we see two superstars out of work?
