info

September 17 2002, 12:39 PM

the Chameleons UK are playing at the Middle East [downstairs] Cambridge, MA 10/6/02 at 8PM. I assume(hope) this is the same band that produced Script of the Bridge. Why the "UK" stuck on the end now? Thanks for the info.

bands of the union jack

doesn't that usually mean some other band carries the same name in a different country?
Like Suede before they became London Suede after legal issues with an american band by the same name.

fyi, all 3 shows in nyc (2 at knitting factory, 1 in bklyn at southpaw) are confirmed, and tickets are already on sale. i bought southpaw tickets for $15, but haven't yet figured out how to get the 2 shows for $25 at k.f. ... very hard (possibly impossible) to speak to a person when calling their number. i will go in person to the box office on friday to see.

Miracles are in this year

Here's another great band I helped wish back together...

And was one of the lucky ones who got to see all four California shows in 2000. Another crazy bunch to hang out with...

Ironically, I gave Mark Burgess a Lowlife cd and played Chameleons for Craig when I was there. He let it play, unlike the Breathless cd, which means he just might have liked it. He'll no doubt correct me if I'm wrong.

Got my tickets for L.A. and the Galaxy, but planned to leave again for Scotland the night of the Long Beach show. I never would've believed I'd ever have to make that choice...

M'ars must be lining up with Uranus (or something cosmic like that.)
