Oops, sorry I posted this twice. I meant to make it a new subject. My name is Tom...a fan that has posted in this forum a few times. I would travel far and wide to see Lowlife. However, I was wondering, do you think Lowlife might do a show in New York City, so as to at least to do one east cost show? That would make tons of sense, and many many people would be so thankful. Also, if by some chance they want to, I can definately get them a good show in Baltimore, Maryland. Let me know! Tom.
Yes! I would go see both a NYC show AND a Baltimore show if they would play them. Heck, I'll go see any and all east coast dates they do. Any info on this possibility? Dan.
I just buried my #1 hero and friend, the first man who ever sang to me, my father. The grief at times has been overwhelming. My only hope is that from his new vantage point Dad can finally see what all of this means to me. I don't think he ever quite understood. See Dad, some people want to climb Mt. Everest, some people want to fly to the moon, and me, I wanted something that was just as out of reach. I only wish you were here to see (and hear) me realize my dream. My Dad was kind of a 'rock star' in his own world of sportfishing, so I am comforted by the thought that Craig's Dad and brother were saving a place for him in the big boat. I will now hang the "gone fishin' " sign out for the last time...
But to answer your questions, gentlemen...
Far be it for me to say that Lowlife will never do shows in NYC, Texas, France, Canada, Spain, Peru, Germany or Bumfuck Egypt (for our friends in the East). If these cds take off like I think they will, everyone who wants to will get to see them play live. Right now, unfortunately, it's all about time, money, and the unpredictability factor (I think you know of whom I speak). Just remember faith is a very powerful thing.
Even if it may sounds strange, we both never met IRL,
Even if it's only words, I send you a lot of warm thoughts.
The sea of tears is so close to the way Lowlife touches me,
I think there is a lot about loss, death, love and luminous emotional truth in their music.
But in some way, silence, walking on the seaside, listening at the breathing of night also means a lot
when we think of those who are gone.
Take all the time you need for the interview, take care of you,
