In Christ, there is no need for goodbye. Can't we see what this all means? We know and understand that we will all see Aaliyah and be together again if we die in Christ. But do we really understand? Can we say that Aaliyah is really gone? There is a mystery and it is Christ. Do we really believe his ressurection? We think that we will have to die and wait for God's final judgment to see our loved ones again. But everytime you get knowledge something more is revealed to you down from heaven. Aaliyah is fine. There is so much future ahead. Great miracles and wonders will happen in the last days, good and bad. So much has not yet happened. Believe, pray, and build for the future.
It's not over. Believe the impossibe. For with God, all things are possible.

I agree what your saying about dying in Christ. I'm a Christain and I believe if you die in Christ we'll see people in Heaven we didn't think of seeing. I truly believe Aaliyah had Christ in her life regardless of musical tastes and religion. I read all of her interviews and she always acknowledged the Lord. I'm 23 and I believe God has a call on my life in the Entertainment Business because I got prophecied to be a movie star which I don't understand. I wanted to be an actress when the prophet told me so I was shock and that's when I was twelve years old, now I'm in college taking acting classes and loving it. Always keep the Lord first in everything you do. I still cry sometimes because Aaliyah's gone but I'll get over it.

Binding Tie

We both have had a similar experience. I was told that I would be a singer and there are many other things in life that I would do for Christ.

I wasn't going to even bother with the message boards on Aaliyah, but I keep hearing a voice in my conscience telling me to write and get involved. I am slow about sharing the word of God and explaining things, because people are so quick to attack. Instead of attacking, people should try to help people understand things in a better way if they think they see something that is wrong and respect other people's beliefs. I keep hearing a voice when I am attacked saying, "Keep going". So I keep going and I found you in the same mind and spirit as me.

You cry about Aaliyah because you are human and there is a binding tie. We are all sisters and brothers down here in Christ. I was never really a fan of Aaliyah's. But I watched her movie with my mother who died this year on chemotheraphy. When I heard that Aaliyah died, a part of me died. It hurt me just like it hurted me when my mother died. Christ is among us. And he's going to bring us all together. The same God that Aaliyah had is the same God that we have.
