Aaliyah

I feel like when Aaliyah died, she took a piece of me with her. I've been a fan since she came out with Age ain't nothing but a number album. That night a small earthquake happened near Monterey, Ca, and I knew something was wrong. Later it flashed on the MTV that she was killed in a plane crash. At first I thought it was a joke and didn't even process it. By the second and third day I was crying. And it took me many months to stop doing that. She was so beautiful and talented that I couldn't fathom the idea that she was gone. I sent her family a christmas card thanking them for bringing such a well rounded and respected invidivual into the world. She will always be remember by my fiance and I. I am glad that we didn't lose Ginuwine, Missy, or Tim too. While I think of her everyday and listen to her music...I can't wait till one day I can tell me children about her. I still want to name my first baby girl after her. And by the government statistics, it looks like many have already done so. I guess I am not the only one who loved Aaliyah's music and image!
