Quick Fix

I had the same error message "SYSTEM ERROR S0042" too. Upon close observation of the camera, I realised it was an impact damage. The smaller lens was knocked downwards. By playing around with it & with a gentle push, I pushed it back into position. Simple & quick! Saved me a lot of time & hassle too.
