I don't know if anyone makes such a beast, even yet. The A2 had close to a million pixles on the EFV. I'd look at the 4/3 and micro 4/3 cameras as a replacements (similar size and they use EFVs). The Panasonic GH1 (micro 4/3) has 480K pixels on it's EFV and it is highly regarded and does 60fps, but the camera is quite pricey because it includes an incredible lens that is 28-280 equiv. The Panasonic G1 (4/3) is supposed to have a good EFV too, but neither one has the raw EFV resolution of the A2, but the higher refresh rate is supposed to be nice. I've never seen either camera in person though, nobody carries Panasonic around here.
If I were shopping for an A2 replacement I'd also look at the Olympus 620; an optical viewfinder instead of EFV, but similar (maybe even smaller) size and the price is good too plus there is some discounting. Getting a camera with interchangeable lenses can give you a lot of possibilities.

I still use my A2 but the EVF on the GH1 is very good, maybe not quite as good but close enough. Also, like the A2, you see the exposure changes as you set them. The 28-280 (equiv mm) is great and the movies are a huge leap forward from what the A2 did.
