Last week: 12-7 OUCH!!!
Total 120-32

Got a couple of BIG statements in the final week..

Crush - "WE WILL NOT BE OVERLOOKED"
Cranesville - "WE ARE NOT OVERRATED"
Gotbeer - "WE WILL NOT MAKE THE PLAYOFFS"... joking..
Krackcase - "I WILL MAKE ALL THE PICKS!"

Field One

(5)Tigers over (12)Cranesville - Gotta give it to Cranesville for taking down what was perceived as a powerhouse Kaisers, but ChiChi tends to come in prepared to do battle with everyone.

(4)Kaisers over (13)Park Pub - Was surprised that they sputtered offensively. So they didn't upset Crush for Alb. Title, but I don't think Park Pub gives them much trouble here.

(1)Growlers over (16)Tri-City Fire - Tri-City needed a big win to get into he playoffs, they upset what was thought to be Schenectady team to beat Outsyders, but the Growlers are a different beast.. might be the biggest lopsided score in round 1.

(8)Shockers over (9)Outsyders - I don't want to say that I overrated the Outsyders, but they haven't been impressing me for the last few weeks... this might be motivation that will light a fire under the Outsyders, but Shockers aren't a team to mess with.

Field 2

(10)Heroes over (7)Delorey's - In my upset pick, this all hinges on Heroes getting their QB back on the hump this week as he didn't play last week in the loss to the Crush. If the Heroes QB is there, they take it.. if not, looks like they go from Heroes to Zeros..

(6)Red Front over (11)Bourbon St. Lunatics - Red Front is probably ranked lower than they should be, at least how I've heard they play, they can beat any team, any day... just doesn't always happen. Lunatics aren't in the playoffs by mistake, they play just as well, but I think Red Front will be too much.

(2)Crush over (15)Code: Red Hawks - Last time Madden faced the Crush in the playoffs, they upset them late in the game. Last time Crush faced Code Red (last season), Code Red put them to the test! Crush put off their playoff woes for at least 1 week.

(3)AC Body Works over (14)Capri Import Franchise - Last couple weeks AC has worked over their opponents.. if they try to relax this week and treat Franchise like a gimme, they'll wind up watching the rest of the playoffs from the sidelines..

Here are a couple things to know going into the playoffs!!!

1. Every year people pick albany and troy teams to crush Schdy teams this year is no different you all pick against us

2. A top 5 team will be upset the first week

3. Crush will make it finally past the first week maybe even get to the third round but thats a big maybe

4. The teams that won the last week of regular season tend to win or have close enough games in the first round of playoffs just because there riding a high

5. Schdy will have 1 of the final 4 teams

Im hearing alot of bashing on the Crush, all i gotta say is anybody can win on any given day, I cant think of too many teams with a better winning % in the past five seasons! As for Brooks if your who i think u are, u guys played in Albany last year and couldn"t hack it so u went to Sch. where the number of teams being less gets u in the playoffs, enjoy it while it lasts u will be making a first round exit! Good luck to all the teams in the playoffs! Crush lets get this done this year! No excuses!

Hope the back is doing well. I was in no way trying to bash you guys. I realize after reading it, it looked that way. Trust me, that bourbon loss still stings a little bit. As I told Scott and Chris I hope we meet again in the bowl.

The only thing we couldn't hack in Albany was the drive lol! Mad props to an undefeated and consistantly good team, we want that... but dont sleep. I've won the C's AND the B's and I know things like getting guys to show up, no dumb penalties, and knowing how to hold onto a lead, is part of why one TEAM is better than another. You've got that + some talent. But don't sleep - we're working on those things, and talent from top to bottom bud? We've got it. At 5-3 I can't talk shi and wouldnt anyway. But dont sleep. Any given Sunday we will play with anyone.

You're refering to a Tri City Fire team in the Albany C's in the Fall who had 9 guys, half of whom were injured or not committed. You know absolutely nothing about how good or bad the TCF team is this season. I know I don't go out of my way to go see Albany or Troy games now that I don't play out there.

You may not recall, but the nucleus of the guys who play for TCF earned a spot in the A's as part of World One a few years back and/or have multiple championships under their belt. If you want to believe we can't "hack it", it's to your own detriment.
