Kinda gonna suck if I get a team wrong since they're playing double headers.. but oh well, KRACKCASE STILL HAS ALL THE PICKS..

Round 2

(2)Crush over (10)Heroes - These two teams play against each other last week of the regular season with the Crush coming out with a pretty handy victory. Heroes, if I recall, didn't have their starting QB, but I don't this it'll matter this week as the Crush seem like they're on a mission to get to the Bs this year.

(6)Redfront over (3)AC Body Works - In my upset pick, I'm taking Red Front.. honestly just because I haven't been overly impressed with anyone from Schenectady and Red Front is a powerful team.

(4)Kaisers over (5)Lark Tavern Tigers - Of course this being the closest seeded matchup, it SHOULD be the closest game of the week. Both teams have strong weapons on offense and tough defenses. I think this game comes down to the line play.

(1)Growlers over (8)Shockers - You don't get the #1 seed for doing nothing. Was told the Growlers look somewhat unimpressive last week with their win over Tri-City, and that the Shockers looked strong. But I just can't write off the #1 seed that easily.

Round 3

(2)Crush over (6)Redfront - If all my picks go right in the previous round, this matchup I'm most worried about getting wrong. Crush, while always being a top ranked team, just can't seem to get it together to finish the season on top, and with the double header and them being somewhat of an older team, they might run out of gas this year. This could go either way, but just due to the seeding I'm giving Crush the win.

(4)Kaisers over (1)Growlers - This is where the Growlers weak play vs Tri-City comes into my picks. As stated Kaisers has a powerful offense and stingy defense. Not saying Growlers don't, but I think if Kaisers get past the Tigers, they have the power to push to the super bowl this year. (Especially since Kaisers QB won't go on vacation for round 3 of the playoffs this year)

So harsh Tom, spread the love man.

And I've personally played against both lines, and I hold by my statement that I think theirs is better.

To bad you hide behind a fake name. I guess we'll find out on Sunday.

The Kaisers boys know I have all the respect in the world for them, and I believe both teams will be ready to go and have a great game.

8-0 last week like uncle krackercase, so take that haters. The cdffl C playoffs might just be the biggest crapshoot in all of sports...on to the pix....

ROUND 2

Orange Crush (2)
vs
NKF Practice Heroes (10)

Probably the easiest game to pick. Props to sweet Lou on his game winning fg last week. 2 weeks ago, Crush won 25-0, granted Zach was not there, but Zach is not a 25 point difference maker. Crush roll to Round 3

AC Body Works (3)
vs
Redfront (6)

In full disclousure, I have not seen AC play this season. They did win Schenectady, but are also the only Schenectady team left. The Red Front beat the Shockers, but were then shocked by Pro Fire. I'm going Troy here.

Kaiser Body Shop (4)
vs
Lark Tavern (5)

2 weeks ago Kaiser lost to CB, last week CB got whooped by the Tigers. This game will come down to line play, but in the sense that the Tiger line needs to get pressure to help out the seconday. Chichi goes to Round 3

Growlers (1)
vs
Shockers (8)

I have thought about this one alot. If the Growlers show up with the team they had last week then EJ will get sweet revenge. I think the Growlers still find a way to squeak it out.

ROUND 3

Crush vs Red Front

I know I said it last year as well, but this is the year of the Crush. The D has had 3 consecutive shut outs. Unless Mosher has a meltdown...Punch the Crush ticket to Union!

Tigers vs Growlers

Who has the advantage, the team that had time to cramp up or the team that just played? Both teams have playmakers and savy vets. Both teams wear orange. Tigers by a fg!

I took some gambles, good luck to all teams, congrats on making it this far.

just for the record, Zack's attendance does not make or break the heroes!! he didnt get past the line of scrimmage running the ball against Delorey's last week and only had one reception at receiver. dont get me wrong, im sure he's a good player with great speed but he is not there whole team. I'd be more afraid of losing Lou than anyone else on that team

I think it was only 3-4 picks, but one did go to the house. Sure did feel like more though. Looking forward to the rematch this week. Hopefully it will not be a mud bowl like it was when we played 2 weeks ago.

Round 2&3 picks

No score for this post
June 25 2009, 1:13 PM

6-2 with last weeks picks, I went with a couple upsets just to stir it up a bit and got burned.. Anyway we’re on to the second round and the picks get a lot tougher....

ROUND 2

Orange Crush (2)
vs
NKF Practice Heroes (10)

An interesting game here. The Crush pounded the Heroes to end out the regular season. However, the Crush can never seem to get over that 2nd round hump. I do think this game is going to be much closer, but I think the crush get it done and knock off that monkey for at least one more round.

AC Body Works (3)
vs
Redfront (6)

AC is the last remaining Schenectady team, kinda funny because if you read the message boards you would think the champ was gonna come from Schenectady this year. I gotta give it up to AC for not being all over the boards smack talking, they realized that’s how you gain respect. I just don’t think the Schenectady teams have what it takes to run with the Albany and Troy elites, this season anyway.Redfront

Kaiser Body Shop (4)
vs
Lark Tavern (5)

This game is going to be the best game of round 2 hands down. These two teams went down to the wire last season (Kaisers as the Hawks) but the tigers were able to pull it out behind stellar play by Bishop. Kaisers has plenty of weapons on both sides of the ball as do the tigers and this game will come down to line play. Sorry ChiChi but if all the Kaiser line is there they are better, so I’m going with Kaisers.

Growlers (1)
vs
Shockers (8)

I finally got to see the Growlers play a full game last week and I have to admit that there QB might be one of the best I’ve seen. His throws are extremely accurate and have a lot of zip behind them. Both teams love to air it out. The question is which team has the better corners. Although I would love to see the upset, I have to go with the smart pick on this one. Growlers.

ROUND 3

Crush vs Red Front

This is where it gets real tough to pick the crush. Red front is a very physical team who has the athletes to get some pressure on Mosher but I don’t know if they have a strong enough O to take advantage of the Crushes mistakes. I’m going with Redfront but I would really love to see a Crush Kaisers match up in the super bowl.

Kaisers vs Growlers

This will be another great match up. Both teams fought for that number one spot all season until Kaisers slip up the last week of the season. The growlers have 4 wide outs that have been able to over match every team they played this season. However, Kaisers has a very good secondary that can combat those receivers and a line that can put lots of pressure on the QB. I’m going with my pick to win the whole damn thing….Kaisers!!!

Good luck to all teams this Sunday, remember these picks are just my opinion don’t take them to heart. Congrats on a good season

I don't know about these match ups but I am going to go with Kaiser beating my boys from the Red Front in the Superbowl. Redfront was a crappy defensive drive away from beating the misfits to get into the superbowl last season and those Kaiser boys look pretty nasty, even if that DJ kid on their squad is a straight bum. ha ha.

The Crush Vs. Heroes Showdown

No score for this post
June 26 2009, 9:37 AM

As this weekend draws near, lets roll back the clock, last season we matched up with the CRUSH and lost by 3(25-22). Head into this season with the hardest games of the season working as bookends, Kaiser on one end and the crush at the other!

People are right we lost both games and thats why were seeded where we are! But if you didn't see the game against the Crush 2 weeks ago, lets just revisit that game...

It was 7-0 in the mud bowl w/ :38 seconds left, Zach throw an interception that went to the end zone to give the CRUSH a 13-0 lead at the half! It didn't get much better then that in the second half, but what I will tell you is we are much better then that showing! We were cut and the CRUSH know that, they kept pouring it on; no remorse at all!

On our side line there was a lot of things going on and we may be down, but never count us out! Bobby Gilbert the voice of our Defense was on crutches on the sideline, and the voice of the Heroes was not there either! I stated to our team, that afternoon that we needed a new leader to step up... that didn't happen that Sunday!

What I will explain to you guys this weekend is that Mike Heath is back and he will take the pressure off (Pneumonia ridin) Zach( At the time)! This game will be played hard on both sides and the better team will Win, we have the utmost respect for them and if we can find an answer for Brandon on both sides(Amazing Athlete), this game could come down to the wire!

Good Luck to both teams(and all teams left from the Albany Division)! Heroes
