I would like to inform the entire league about the Mike Discipio benefit tournament that is being held at nott road complex in Guilderland on August 15th and 16th.For those of you who do not know. Mike used to play for the Cannoneers. He had a severe neck injury which left him paralyzed from the neck down. This will be our third year for this event. Two years ago we had just 9 nine man teams for the event. Last year we had 15 nine man teams and 6 co-ed teams. We are expecting as many as 25 nine man teams this year. And we would like to add an 8 man division. It is a great tournament that is in your own back yard. It's a tremendous oppurtunity to see and compete against the best competition in the country. There will be prize money for both division winners. Also there will be raffles throughout the day. Concession stand will be open throughout the tournament. I would love to make this event the most prestigious one in the country. If you decide not to put a team in for this event and would still like to make a donation it would be greatly appreciated! I will give more details on this event weekly!

i say 275 a team just like any other turny whats 20 bucks a head when its for a good cause

It's a bit more than $275. I think last years fee was around $600 per team maybe more. It's a benefit tournament, so the proceeds go to a good cause.

Im not putting in a team but im down to hop on a squad if need be. Ill play 8 man 9 man doesnt matter played last year this tourny is alot of fun and very competitive

Tom from Lark Tavern I would like to play in the tourny if you guys need some help I play with Tony on Delorey's we met a few times. I play RB for them but can play wr, cb, ss, if needed. I know you have a good team but it's summer and I know it's hard to get everyone together. You should talk to Tony too I bet we may have a few players from Delorey's that would be interested. By the way good luck in Bowl game next weekend!!!

How much to enter?
