In four seasons in the CDFFL, TCF has been able to start a team, grow and recruit the talent it would take to win, build chemistry and comrodery, and begin to execute at a high enough level, to legitimately be in the conversation of who is the best team in the C division.

Four seasons ago we were - lol… not good. We had one CDFFL vet – the lockdown corner from World One who was now trying to play QB. We had a former Section 2 basketball scoring champ whose football-hands were inconsistent - at best. And we had a bunch of guys who’d never played flag (or any organized football) before. Our playbook was terrible-to-nonexistent. We played with no fans and sometimes not enough players. We didn’t win a game. It was ugly. But mixed into all the misery that comes with going winless, there was something we all wanted more of… there was a glimmer of fun. And a hope that we could, and would get better.

Fast forward to today… my life has gotten more complicated as has everyone’s. Since then I got married, and had a baby. And I need more than ever that time away with the boys - to recreate with refs and some flags what we all loved so much as kids.

I want to thank all my guys for buying in and being part of this team that I wouldn’t trade for anything. Let’s let the rest of the league know – We’re 8-0… and we’re not leaving too easy… we just arrived.

To all you new teams - stick with it and take the steps to get better; it will happen.
To all you old teams - remember that this is what it’s about.

Good luck to everybody in the playoffs. Lets have some fun!

TCF scrimmages a make shift of old World One players. Since World One can't get the beers and bluntz away from them and some REFUSE to play in the C's with those clowns why don't we scrimmage you guys so we can smack that azz. I have a question why the uck doesn't Brian Rapp start on your D. Its got to be all politics cause that boy EATS. I'm happy for you guys and your success in the C's, but when you move up or want to scrimmage the likes of the stork just call we'll put down the booze and smack that azz. It's about time you guys win, you embarassed World One for 3 years now. You guys should win you have 6 A players on your team. Raquan is a MONSTER in the A's. I love you guys but your posts are SO corny and Rich, well just look at all his post. I hope you guys take home the Super Bowl. Remember if World One didn't quit like punks and we had a O and D- line we would be running the A's. How we folded was a joke and I wish we still played. I feel like i should be paying someone $19.99 for this entertainment.... We are in the C's right???? We played in the B's last year and went 1-7, we are 6-2 now in the C's.... Maybe your 8-0 record has something to do with being in the C's, once you get to the A's and win a couple games then post this... I'm glad you guys have improved but picking up fallen A players and playing that team in the C's is not a great story to brag about... Our team is a group of friends who have improved through playing not purchasing a championship team...

I should have expected to get hated on by dudes who dont have it like I do. I got boys who I've known since I was 5 and 2 of my little brothers on this team. So if I posted something to say how proud I am of starting a team with no random ass dudes and we dominate our league I'm cool with that lol. A couple points just to add to all these posts that we have going on here.

A. If u dont like what we have to say guess what.... don't read it that simple. For all u guys to come on here and bash our team no matter if where c or b divison its called hating and i expect that from most of this league.

B. Peirce really man come on u are the biggest jock rider there is in this league. You were all for being on the best team in schdy than got booted and here came the tears.... Boo hoo grow a set and come to the field and say what you got to say to either one us and i guarantee you wont be saying it again. where homo huh right nice of u to show up last week because u knew you were the target of all the guys on the team so be easy and do somthing with your life besides jock ride

This is all suppose to be for fun, Grown guys going out on sundays and competing. we know where not no nfl team nor ever gonna be but its fun growing as a team and i know there are teams and guys out there that have gone through the growing pains like we did. so for all u to say get your own site or what not this is our site just like its yours u dont like oh well. dont come down on us because we're happy and stuff. Nothing worse than when people rain down on some ones parade because there life sucks to the point where they dont want to see anyone happy.

D. Last point ww1 guy who ever you are. here a thought sober up get your boys together and meet us in the spring in the B;s because even if we dont win. which we might not. we have fun and we will move up just so we can have more fun next year.

I never would have expected that from you of all people my man. Think back to when you first started kid and remember whose jock you were riding. The only reason you had the success you did as an individual player was because of the supporting cast you had. I could never take anything away from the accomplishments that W1 enjoyed because they were a very good team, bit for you to say $hit like that shows that you're not even close to the guy I played D-line with way back when. Ya TCF.....you guys beat us 28-0 with a young'n at QB, great, you guys are obviously the hands down greatest Schenectady C division team to ever roam the Nott road fields. but that game was a wakeup call. we only lost to the raiders since we played you keeping us from going 6-0 since we played you and they didnt beat us, we beat ourselves. We realized that to succeed in the schenectady C's, we needed to come together as a unit. our team has bonded more than any team in this whole league since those losses. we spend time together, we go shopping for our mothers together. we even cook each other dinner. I have seen every one of my teammates in their underwear. our starting saftey, who by the way probably leads the league in picks with 15 (Defensive player of the year shoutout) even named his brand new kitten after our starting quarterback. we are in the process of buying a house together so we can always be together, gameplam and travel as a singular unit. we define team and wreak of future success. we are an inspirational story as we combine unparrelled team building skills with a true passion, fire, and intentestinal fortitude that ranks amongst nfl champions. we used to yell at each other on the sidelines, and now we hug. we dont huddle, we hold hands a symbol of unity. you cant measure heart with a number but id dare you to match our hypothetical heart rating of 1.2 billion regardless of record. we love each other and we go out and play our tukkus' off for each other so when you see the maggie's falcons team bus rumblin into nott road, just know you arent just messing with a football team, you are messing with a family that will sweat, bleed and cry for every last yard.

B) I sprained my ankle I believe week 3 or 4 and I only played like 2 games with the Outlawz before I realized it was not worth my time on Sundays.

Like I said before, this country was founded on certain freedoms that all of us are able to enjoy. One of them is the freedom of speech to be able to express your opinion without fear of persecution. Fortunately it goes both ways, so everyone else is also entitled to their opinion as well. That doesn't mean that one is right and the other is wrong. It just means that the opinions differ. No harm no foul. I for one love it. It makes for interesting reading from time to time. Of course I can't really recall when a post has gotten this type of a reaction, but it's all good. I'm not going to lie, I read that post, thought it was you and felt a little hurt after the several seasons we played together on W1. I was immediately going to post something, but thought better of it and read the rest of the posts. I'm glad you came and cleared that all up. I hope all is well with you, kid!

To the rest:

As for everyone disrespecting Simon for his post, it doesn't really matter what you think. Sometimes you have to say what you feel and the fact that he has a group of guys that have supported and made happen what he would like to accomplish is an awesome feeling. He chose this as his outlet for that message. End of story. You can call him or all of the TCF players gay, but you would then only be losing to gay people. Not that that matters much, but just gargle that around in your mouth a bit and see how it tastes before you spit anything else out.

If you're one of those guys coming out of your mouth with "this is just a flag football league", don't waste your time or money next season! We would rather not take a blow out victory. It's not that people, TCF among other teams, are taking it too seriously, we would rather play games against guys who actually care a little! You don't know how many times there have been teams that sign up and then only show 7 guys or fold halfway through the season because they are not competitive and people fall off. So to have a team as united as TCF, and a handful of others in the C's, should be a welcome thing rather than trying to spread more negativity.

As for the future, don't stress, W1 began as a C team and then made it all the way to the A's with some of the very same feelings and messages that Simon just got criticized for. With some of those same players on TCF, It would not be a surprise to see this team do it as well, if that were to be the decision. Many of you may get your wish sooner than later.

Simon, do your thing. Nobody has been able to stop you thus far!

You took the time to find this thread in the forum and write THAT? At least come out and rip the hell out of us if you're going to put forth the effort and say anything. You just sound like an absolute tool for writing something so lame after the fact. In my estimation, we can open our mouths anytime we choose because we still went 11-1 and narrowly missed our goal for the season.

Regardless, our team made it to the Super Bowl and fought hard in a winnable game. We have nothing but pride moving forward. I'll take that any day, no matter if we made a good amount of mistakes. We have to live with that for the present, but everyone else is going to have to suffer you being an loser with those types of posts.

Keep your heads high, Fire! One game doesn't spoil a whole season!
