I am the webmaster here at caring4you.net. I would like to thank each and every participant if this site be it your first time or a repeat visitor. I would like to put together a web page for the NCLEX results.

No matter how much I post about nclex results, people still want to know when they will get their results. And so I call upon you. Please use this thread to post the following information.

1). What State did you take your nclex in?

2). Did you contact a 900 number, if so, what was the number?

3). Did you check your results on your States Board of Nursing? If so, how long did it take for your results to show on the web?

4). How long did it take for your results to come in the mail.

I need posters from EVERY State and Guam including Puerto Rico if that is possible. So please, post away. In the Message title, include your State.

I took the exam in TN and it took 8 business days to get my results. TN has no 900 number, and the website is not accurate all the time <-- straight from webmaster. Hope this helps

Did you ever try to look at the State Dept. of Health to find out license verification before you got your results?

If you are a new nurse and want respect.. Do Not Work for Lakeview Community Hospital, Eufaula, Alabama. You will be treated like Sh** . Unless You are friend with the Human Ressourses Director, She will do anything to protect you even if you are a very bad nurse, make mistakes,leave your patient alone to take a break, whatever you do wrong... if she's your $$friend$$$ you are ok.
If you are too good... you are GONE. She is alone in the HR. She can do whatever she wants. She's got the control....you hear me.... She is killing the hospital. To all you new nurses you have to ask for respect, from the hospital employees and from the doctors... If you let them treat you like Sh** they will .Respect yourself and refuse to work for a hospital like this one. Hospital needs YOU. And you should be in control of your destiny.
There are thousands of Hospitals in USA That would do anything to Have you and they will treat you GOOD. Eufaula Mafia Community Hospital is not one of them.

I took the NCLEX in CA and got (failing) results through the mail exactly 3 weeks after the test date, but a friend of mine got (passing) results also through the mail after just one week. I'm not aware of any 900 number in CA. Hope this is somehow helpful.

Took my 6/26/04 still don't know.... I have called several times. They say they have boxes & boxes of transcripts to go through. That is not comfort to me.

do you have the number to get the result in. i took mine, last july 28th and i still don't have the result. is it too early for me to expect the result.

I took the NCLEX in Ill it took 3 weeks to find out my results and it was the worst 3 weeks of my life. I still don't know how my husband, daughter, other family and friends put up with me.....

I have 2 friends who took the exam and passed,waited for 10 days for the result.
I also have 4 friends who waited for 3 weeks for their results and unfortunately they failed.

You can check your result online,go to www.ca.rn.org and do click on license verification and You will find it,just try, I did it and works with me.

I took my state boards in Arizona.. It took two days to get my passing results via the 900 number.. It takes only three business days..

i took the nclex rn-MA. i took in 11/01. and found out online on MA board of nursing 4 days later that i pass. i havent recieve my license in mail yet, but the license # and info are all onlin already. : )

i took the test on wed feb 13 ,2002 and i haven't received my results yet i't was a holiday weekend

I failed the first time i took the NCLEX and it took me 14 days to wait for the result from the mail.
When I passed the exam, I waited for 10 working days from the mail.
I have a friend who just passed today,she waited for 2 weeks for the result from the mail. I have 4 friends who failed,they waited for 3 weeks for their results. We didn't checked our results from State Board of Nursing or the website. We just waited for the result in the mail.

I took my exam on Nov. 8, 2001 in Ohio. I used the 1-900 #, 3 business days after the exam. Mon. was a government holiday, so that day did not count. I received my License in the mail today, which is Nov. 17 (5 business days after). I checked on the Ohio board website, but they update at the beginning of each week. My license was issued on the 15th, so it wasn't on the website yet. I imagine it will be on Mon. (19th).

Texas has a phone # that you can verify licensure:
512-305-7400, just follow the automated voice prompt also the web site is www.bne.state.tx.us where you can find out if you have a licence (or passed the NCLEX).

I recieved my passing NCLEX results on November 27 and I took the exam on November 2. I took this in California. We have no 1-900 number, but we have a wesite to verify the license. Hope this helps!

Do you know where I can check on my NCLEX application which was mailed from Manila, Philippines to California Board of Nursing last January 6, 2005?
My return card to confirm that they have received my application was not yet sent to me. I was just wondering why it was delayed, my friends who sent their application last February 2005 have already received their return cards.

I'm in South Carolina I got my results on 3 week on the mail from the Nursing Board.

I took the test in Illinois on 1/24 and it took 16 days to get my results (passed!) There is no 900 number and the state licensing site only posts licences when they have been issued, which isn't until after you send the more money (ha!) and the form saying you passed.

I took my test on December 28th and received my results on January 15th. They download license numbers into the computer every Tuesday that are available over the phone, by the evening of that tuesday, they will be posted online:)

In South Carolina you can call the 900# 3 business days after you take the test, or you can look them up online after one to two weeks of taking the test. Your results should be received in the mail 2-4 weeks after taking the NCLEX.

I took the NCLEX-PN in North Carolina on February 12th. The results were first available on the automated phone line (919-881-2272) on February 20th. Phone results are updated faster than the website. I'm not sure how long it takes to appear on the website. The website is www.ncbon.org. My letter was postmarked the same day 2/20/02 and I received it shortly thereafter.

I took the NCLEX on January 6, 2005. I was able to verify a license online January 12th. For all those waiting to hear there results or verify a license hang in there. Thanks for your forum you gave me very valuable information.

I took the NCLEX to reinstate my license in Michigan.
Michigan does not have a 900 number for results. I received my new license in the mail (Nevada) 9 days later.

Took my NCLEX-PN in Ok 3/9/02 on a Saturday, and received my results today 3/12/02 over the phone. Oklahoma does not have a 900 number...I passed...thank God, thank God..

I am an English registered nurse, I took my nclex on 25th Feb (Georgia Board) I received my results on 8th March, the letter was dated 3rd March. It took approx 6 days in total. In fact I received my license before I received the letter to say that I had passed which arrived approx one week later.

I just wanted to tell you that, all things are possible through Jesus. It took me 4 times to pass the test. On the 4th try, I just put it in Jesus's hands, and I passed. The test is not easy, but with Jesus's help, you can do it.

Can you give me any tips on passing this NCLEX exam. I just took it last week for the 2nd time and failed it again and don't know what to do now.

I took my NCLEX in Nevada on 2/27/02, and it took 13 days to get my results via the NV State Board of Nursing web site. However many of my fellow peers received their results in 8 days.

I took my test on Wed. March 13 and received my license in the mail on the following Tues...if you have a temporary in our state you can find out a bit sooner--maybe a day or so....which seems like a lifetime while waiting...
I tested in UTAH, but live and work in IDAHO--Utah has a 900 number but those licensing in Idaho are not on there---this found out after $16 on my phone bill! LOL!
plus with a temporary they gave my friend her results over the phone after they had mailed the licenses...all they said to me was....we can't disclose any results over the phone..but your results were mailed out today....Gee thanks!

Go to the state of Michigan website and to the section to verify license, type in your name to find out if you have a license. It will say pending if your results are not in or you failed and if you passed it will give a license number if you passed. This does take 2-3 business days and may take longer, so dont panic if you are still pending.

Ilive in California and took my test last week. I checked our boards license verification web site, and There was my name and number today. I have not received my official notification yet.

I read your post about NCLEX results on August of 2002. And I noticed that you called the CA BRN; did that work? Did they actually help you out and give you information on your nclex results status? i took my boards on june 11th in NC, and have yet to hear back. for some reason it's taking longer this year. one of my friends took hers on the 4th and finally heard back that she passed on the 21st. we don't have access to the 900# here, but you can call an automated phone system, or check the state BON online.

I took my NCLEX (VA)on yesterday June 27th, so obviously still waiting for results. My other classmates it took them 3 business days to get their results via phone. The number for Virginia NCLEX results is 804-662-7636. There is also a website: www.dhp.state.va.us/nurse/choose.htm I hope this has helped anyone in VA, and Good Luck!!

Hello, I took my boards on June 17th and I found out June 20th that I had passed. I live in Delaware and used the # 1-900-225-6000. It is $7.95 for the call. Delaware doesn't have a website where you can find out . My license came a week after I had taken the exam. Good luck to all.

I'm from the UK and I took my exam on June 24th in Georgia. I found out today that I passed! I found out by checking the Vermont State Board website.

I took my test in Texas. It takes three to four days for the BNE to get the results. They post new licensure only on Tuesdays and renewals on Thursdays. They have the website and phone number to contact them

I took the TX NCLEX-PN on 9-7; 85 questions. Pass results on 9-9 @ pearsonvue.com for $7.95.

I took the NCLEX in California. California does not have a 900 number. I took the test June 24th and my results were online on July 10th. That was 16 days. It was 12 business days because the BRN only updates the websit M-F. The BRN claimed they were behind on posting results because my school had not turned in the official transcripts yet and they require 10 business days to verify them. The CA BRN website to find your license online is www.rn.ca.gov. There is an 800 number listed on this site but it is for verification only and you have to look up a person by license number.

But i was not able to find out how to view the results in there. Will you please mail me in detail which topic to click in that website and where can i find my license number and what information should i give to know my results? I took the n-clex on 7/1. On 7/8, I found out my results by calling the board of nursing verification phone line (334-242-0767). On 7/12, I received notification by mail.

It took 20 days to find out if I passed on the Maryland board of nursing website, there was a holiday involved (4th of July) I later found out there was a fill in for the regular processer,(who was on vacation) and the website was down for two days. I don't know if that was a delay. I received my license in the mail 2 days later. There is no 900 number or other faster way to find out ( I have looked) Be patient and have faith!!! Took NCLEX (unsuccessful attempt) in FLORIDA. If you pass your name is on the website for the DOH (department of health) licensee search. If your name is not there within 3 business days you can safely assume that you did not pass. I received my paperwork to retake the exam in 9 days (that was including week days and weekend). In Florida there is not a 900 number to verify or to check results from NCLEX.

Took the NCLEX on the 12th of august, and found out that i passed 9 days later online (license verification)..including weekend...so if u do not see your name online after three days, it does not mean that you did not make it..
There is no 900# to call..
It's now the 31st and i still have not received my license in the mail..

I took mine in Iowa on Aug. 19th. They gave me the sheet with the 900 # & 3 days later when I called it said it wasn't available in my area. The paper said it was available in Iowa. But anyways, I got the results off the Iowa Boards of nusrsing website that same day. Haven't received license yet, but most people getting it in 3-4 weeks. the # I was given was 1-900-225-6000

I took the boards in N.C. on July 24th, received the results via telephone on August 23rd, (no 900 #). I then received my certificate on August 24th and was informed that my license would soon follow.

Hi, I read your message here. I just took the NCLEX-PN today, February 16, 2004. I was wondering if you have taken it yet? The computer shut me off at 85 questions and I just felt like I was guessing on 85-90% of the questions. I don't feel confident at all. I heard from some people that if the computer shuts you off at 85 it is sometimes a good sign, but then I heard that could also mean that you failed. I would appreciate a response! thanks.

I took my boards in the small town of Ithaca, NY. I did call a 900# to get my results in 3 days. I can't remember the #, sorry! I got my license in the mail in a week and my license # was posted online in about 7 days as well. I was really surprised at how fast I got them since it took forever for them to process my application.

I took mine in New York and I got the results in 2 days thru the 900# but I'm still waiting for the official results thru the mail. I don't even see my name yet online.

I took the test on 9/18, knew the result in 2 days but it's been almost 3 weeks now I didn't get my license.

I took my test on July25 and received my results online on July31st. It usually takes 3-4days to get results online and 2-4wks to receive them through the mail.There is no 900# in CA but the website to check is ca.rn.gov

I took NCLEX in South Carolina. We have access to the 900 number. It took 2 weeks to get my failing results in the mail. I retook and don't know if I passed yet. Will let you know how long it takes to post on web if I passed.

I took the test in FL. After 3 buisness days I looked up the health providers look up screen which posts information of all Florida health providers, and found out that I have been issued a license number. I found the link in answers to FAQs in the board's website.

I took my boards in KY and found out that I passed by the website. It took them 12 days to post my results.
The website can be foud by visiting the KY Board of nsg home page, and it cost 70 cents each time you ck for verification. Also thanks for all your help and this great website Anneliese.

Hi, I took the nclex pn on Sept. 25th 2002. Florida does not participate in the 900 number program. Nevertheless, I kept checking the Florida Board of Nursing MQA website....daily.... It took 10 business days before my license was posted,on October 9th there it was! Everyday that went by made me less and less confident!! You can not "safely assume" after 3 days and no posting that you failed. You need to give it a couple weeks, at least, to be posted. Once your are posted, the letter comes in the mail 3 business days later.

i took the nclex-rn in california on sept. 30 and got my passing letter on November 6! i live outside the u.s., though.

It took 5 days (that's including weekdays) for me to see my name in the website. I'm still waiting for my result in the mail.

I took the test on Friday, Oct 31, 2003 and my name appeared on their website Tuesday Nov.4,2003. I am surprised it was that fast, considering when I called the Board, I was told that they do not have a website nor a phone number to check status and that I have to wait for it by mail which takes 2-4 weeks! Now I have to wait for the actual result. This is better than the Pearson/Vue unofficial results! License number and all included!

Took the test in Nebraska.It took me only 3 days to get my NCLEX RN results.Via their VUE online website.And felt great upon learning that i passed. I also got my License on the afternoon of that same day I checked it online.They(VUE & Nebraska State Board of Nursing) were very efficient.

I sat on March 18th for Maryland board, my results were on line by late 19th March. Fastest part of this whole process!

Got my results via the state board website licensure register after about 2 weeks....official results arrived in the mail about 2 days after this.

btw.....this was back in september before Pearson

Am from NY...I took the exam on a Thursday, pearson gave me a 900 number to call. By Monday I saw my name on the NY BON and a week later I got my license in the mail...yeah I didn't imagine that it'll be this quick...hope this helps.

I took my MN boards on a Tuesday morning at 9AM. I checked the state boards website at 8 AM on Wednesday morning and my results were already there. I received my License in the mail on Friday.....Talk about quick. I was very surprised

I took it June 7th and got my official results today June 24th. The computer shut off at 75. I spent about 45 minutes on the test.

I took my RN boards in Michigan and got the results via the early verification system on the telephone in two days. However, my license number still hasn't shown up on the state website.

We took the NCLEX in Miami, FL and we got our results in 48 hours from the department of health web site. We just checked to see if a liscense had been issued in our names, and they had.

I took NCLEX in Michigan on a Saturday morning, went on the testing centers website on Monday afternoon, and received the result then. On Friday of the same week, I checked my name under License Verification with the state of Michigan, and found that I had been licensed two days after I took the test! I also received my license in the mail later that day.

I am from NY. I took the NCLEX on a Thursday 6/8, and got the results via the internet on Saturday 6/10. The machine shut off after 75 questions.

I took the NCLEX_PN in NC. It took exactly 1 week to get my passing results.

I took my test in Alabama. I took it on a Friday and recieved my results the next friday...Total of 7 days.
I didn't call any numbers to find out before hand..

I took the NCLEX-PN in Colorado this month and two days later I found out my results off of the www.pearsonvue.com/nclex site. There is a flat rate of $7.00 to get your unofficial results.

I took the exam on May 28, 2003. Got passing result by mail in the Philippines on July 3. Result at the BON website showed after 3 weeks.

I took the Nclex on Oct. 2 and got my unoffical results on Oct. 5 thru the Pearson Vue website.

I sat for the exam on Oct. 2 and I got my unoffical results on Oct. 5.

I took the Nclex RN exam CA BON last Sept. 29. for the second time. The test shut off @ 95. With the Lord's grace I received a letter of notification that I passed 13 days after the test. I dont have SSN yet.

As of Nov 2003..with Pearson Vue.

Iowa:

Unoffical results-
Iowa does participate. You can call the 900 number or view your results on the Pearson Vue Web Site. You will be able to view your "Unoffical" results 2 days after the examination. NOT TWO BUSINESS DAYS, 2 Days. Example: Exam taken on Friday, you can view your results on Sunday.

Offical results-
The Iowa Board of Nursing posts OFFICAL results on their web site or thru thier automated phone service.
These are update ONLY, EVERY WEDNESDAY AM. So if you take your boards on a Monday, you can check the Iowa Board of Nursing web site on that coming Wednesday AM to see your offical results (License Number). Remember, after you take boards, you can check with the Iowa Board of Nursing on the next Wednesday.

Just want to verify whetheri can get theresult of the nevada exam by nowwhich i took on November 21,2003. i verified from the stat thru your web and it says there active but the expiration date ison January 27,2004

I sat for my boards June 20 @ 0900 in Char, NC.

I had 76 questions which took me 1 hour and 20 minutes-which was the grace of God for sure...I was always the last to finish testing in school ( too much critical thinking - I worked hard to overcome this my Sr year).


After the test, The testing site gave us information for the North Carolina Board of Nursing (NCBON) to contact. We do not have the 900 here…. but I sure didn't need it!!

The website is www.ncbon.com, the number to call for results is 919-881-2272, License verification System.

You simply enter in your social and it will indicate if they (BON) has a license # on you...if they do - you passed. If the response is " no records found", then either they have not received your information from the site yet, or you may have failed in which case you will recieve a letter within 2 weeks ( this information is per some colleague who failed, not from the site ).

I called on Saturday so I would know what to expect to hear, and it kept saying no records found which I didn't expect but, wanted to know what to expect!

I called Monday,it continued to say, no records found.
Called Tuesday morning at 10:00..2 full business days and it said. "RN, my last name, my license #, my confirmation #, expiration date..multi state privileges". I screamed and called 2 more times!!!

Then I checked the website ( click on the link that says verify license) not immediately, like 3 minutes , which I had been trying as well, my inf. didn't show for a couple more days but still, very quickly, within the week.

I received my License in the mail within 2 weeks. I am very thankful to be in NC!!

I took my nclex two days ago. Wed, Feb.18 . I have called the nursing board lic. verification center and my name still doesn't show up. Is saturday considered a bus. day???

I took my NCLEX RN in Ohio, It took 48 hours of the time that my exam ended, to get my results, the results are available through the internet and 900 number for a $8.00 charge. I failed and it took 1 week to get my diagnostic report through the mail

I took the NC board of Nursing test for LPN.

2). Did you contact a 900 number, if so, what was the number?

No. But you can call the NCBON verification line. It will tell you when a license was put into effect. You have to wait to find out if you failed.

3). Did you check your results on your States Board of Nursing? If so, how long did it take for your results to show on the web?

I found out over the phone. It was 3 days after I had taken the NCLEX. It was on the internet in 4 days.


4). How long did it take for your results to come in the mail.

If I remember correctly it was about 2 weeks after I had taken the NCLEX.

I live in Wyoming. I took my exam April 20th, and I had results that same day!! I passed! This was my second attempt. One of the nurse managers called the state board of nursing and was able to get my results! I took the exam at 9am and found out by 4pm! I had only 5 questions in the "new format" and mine were all choosing multiple answers. I didn't have any fill in the blank or pictures to click on! I only had 75 questions this time compared to 265 last time!

What did you do to prepare for the NCLEX the second time? To go from taking the maximum number of questions to the minimum is great!

I took NCLEX in Florida. I got my unofficial results through the Pearson website for $7.99 2 days after the exam. The official result came in 10 days after. My name appeared in the Florida Board of Nursing website after 5 working days. Hope this helps.

hi, i took the NCLEX in North Carolina on June 16th and have not yet recieved results yet. I know a few people who recieved their results on the 18th via telephone, however nothing has been posted for my SS#. I'm afraid that I failed! I'm still waiting for something on the phone or in the mail. Good luck everyone...you will need it! It's incredibly hard!!! I took Ca boards on june 5th still waiting for results on june 22:{ It seems most of the latest licenses are issued to out of state persons. How long have other California applicants been waiting?? It has become an obssession for me.

i also took nclex exam last june 5th and got passed result june 19th via mail.i know its very uncomportable feeling waiting for something that you dont even sure what will be.esp knowing the news that april 2004 increased passing standard 95% certainly.but dont lost hope i have friend got passed result by mail almost a month.

I took the NCLEX in CA 0n June 5 and Got Passing results today (over 3 weeks later) on the BRN web site. So, if you are waiting for a long time don't loose hope.

Exam date: June 26 NCLEX RN. 265 question. VERY hard. My friend took her June 23 neither of us have the answer yet via the website. But I do known that school has seen my records of completion. Anyone else anxious with new ulcers aka nlcex, being added old ulcers aka nursing school.

I live in Oklahoma. Took my boards Monday June 28, 2004. Called the BON at 2:00 pm and was told a license was issued in my name. By 11:00 it appeared on the state board of nursing website. I got my license in the mail this morning (June 30th)!

I took the RN NCLEX june 11, 2004 and failed I have been an LPN for 12 years and a Paramedic Nationaly registered I have no clue what went wrong but I guess I am just too stupid to be an RN its pretty sad, when I took the LPN boards 12 years ago I passed the first time... I also got my results that I was NOT an RN in 2 days I took the test friday and by Sunday at 2pm I knew I had FAILEd.

the test was taken in Dayton Ohio btw I am also considering giving up my LPN cause if I am NOT safe enough to practice as an RN I am NOT safe enough to be an LPN that is just my opinion

I also got all 265 questions and it took me almost 3 and 1/2 hours I got to both breaks.....

I took my boards on 7-1-04 and the results were on the 900 # Sat morning 7-3-04. My license was on the board of nursing website 7-6-04. I was just sure I had not passed, I am sure glad we dont have to wait 3 months for results anymore.

I took my NClex in MA. it took 2 days to get my results. I had 160 questions ,Once I passed 75 I panicked ,I felt that I failed the test ,I was sick to my stomach for two days but I Passed! I only remember the hard questions and after the test I looked them up and my answers were all wrong.But I guess you only remember the hard ones and all the others you get were right . What a releif!

I took the NCLEX this past Wednesday and found out in two days. It was for California licensure, however, I took it in Illinois, as we just relocated here.

I am in Wyoming and it took 2 days via pearson website, I took my test on a thursday and had unofficial passing results on saturday, exactly 48 hours after finishing the test. I kept calling the board of nursing for license verification and they didnt have me, in fact the day I recieved my license they still didnt have me down and it said they updated every day. I took the Boards in Florida. Pearson gave me an unofficiall test result for less then $ 8 on the second business day thereafter. The Boards"people" sent me my results within 7 business days.
I signed up with Pearson via computer/e-mail. I had a confirmation e-mail within seconds, my money was taken 2 days thereafter.
...Germany 1992...a different story. No NCLEX there...something, I thought much more difficult to pass, but none-the-less a countrywide examen...(let me know if you need info on that)
Futhermore,where do I mail the card deck to? You did not mention it in your recent response to my e-mail, and I am very tired at looking up page after page- trying to find help in order to pass this darn NCLEX thing....

I took mine yesterday,and do not feel good about it, however I can go online to my state board of nursing (Arkansas) tomorrow and pay to get the results. Can others not get theirs through their state board? The message says that results will be posted within 72 hours.

I'm just confused its been like 10 days now after taking RN exam,this is my second time,during my first time, 2 days right after the exam, i received flyers of the review centers so my friend told me that if you received flyers like that it means you failed and its true, right now i have'nt received any flyers so its been like worst 10 days of my life. I inquire it from the website of california board of nursing, i really don't have any idea if they are doing their updates everyday or everyfriday?please share to me your experience.

i took the nclex in california. i waited 2 weeks for my results. everyday i checked the brn's site: http://www.rn.ca.gov --> license verification. they told me that they won't post my name until after i have received the result in the mail. there is no 900# to call in ca. waiting was torture. i recommend keeping yourself busy while waiting for the results because you will only drive yourself crazy. i do feel better knowing that i can always take it again & its not the end of the world. i hope this helps.

graduated in Illinois 12-04. moved to TX and applied in Tx. Taking nclex for third time. Got results back in 2 business days. $9.95 over phone or $7.95 online. took apx 10-14 days by mail.

She took the test in Pennsylvania for a NC license.

Test was taken on the 24th of September and there are no results yet, we've been checking the NC Board site and also calling the verification number 1-919-881-2272.

She had settlement on her home in NC on the 30th and the mortgage hasn't gone through yet because she doesn't have her license. The mortgage person never mentioned to her that she needed it for settlement. She just graduated in July.

She answered about 80 questions before the computer turned off.

Needless to say she is frantic. She moved less than a week after taking the test and is so worried that her results will be mailed and because of the mail forwarding, it will take forever.

I didn't see anyone on this forum say they took the test in PA. I wonder how the test results are transfered and how long it will take to find out.

I took nclex in ky on sept. 22 and found out sept 24 in the mail. I recieved my license card on Oct. 4.

In Mississippi, the SBN mails every Thursday, so if you take your test Monday-Wednesday, you should get your results in the mail Saturday. No phone number to call and get results. If you pass, you get a white envelope. If you fail, you get a brown manilla envelope.

I took my NCLEX RN in OHio on a Thursday and phoned the "special" number they give you on Saturday and found out I passed. It takes longer for the Board of Nursing to post the results.

Took NCLEX-PN in Michigan, it took 4 business days for my license to be posted on the State's website, the hard copy shouldn't take much longer to arrive by snail mail.
My license had lapsed and I had to retake the NCLEX-PN, so I already had a permanent ID#. Somebody applying for a new license may have a different experience.

I took my NCLEX-RN on Wednesday, December 29 and got my results through the testing site online on Friday, December 31 at 8:00am. I could have looked up my results on the Oregon board website, but unfortunately, they were closed for the holiday!

BTW - passed in 75 questions - yay!

I took my NCLEX in Ohio Dec 22 could find out on Dec 24 on-line, but waited until Dec 26 as to not disturb holiday. Ohio can find out on their board of nursing (HINT: if the area by your name stating "exam pending" is bright BLUE... you know you passed!!) I don't know about other states using that, but Ohio Board does. On-line in two days costs approx. $8.00. I passed thank goodness!!

Hi there! I took the NCLEX at 9:30AM on a Wednesday and my passing results were on the State of NH Board of Nursing website by the following day at 11AM! I was surpised at how quick it was!

I took my nclex-rn exam last nov. 23, 2004 but until now I dont receive any result can you help me regarding this matter? I took my exam in California.

The California Board of Registration in Nursing is very, very slow but you should have hear something by now. I would strongly suggest that you contact the board via telephone. Be prepared to wait on hold for sometime as they seem to be incredibly understaffed.

i took my exam on 5/5 and found out this morning from the ca bon that i passed.

I took the NCLEX on May 31, 2005 and I got the results back on Thursday June 2, 2005 mid-day...I failed it unfortunately. I had all 265 questions! I am hoping to retest in 45 days through South Carolina b/c Georgia makes you wait 91 days! I got my results back via Pearson Vue website. All it said was FAIL...ugh! I got my diagnostic report back a week later and it showed I was NEAR PASSING in each area! Wish me luck.

My husband took the NC NCLEX on July 1 and is still waiting to hear about results (not available yet on the web or the phone). The waiting is making us all crazy. He was supposed to start at Duke on July 11, and now he is having to re-schedule his start date. Ugh!

His initial reaction after he took the test (only 75 questions) was that he did all right and he felt good about it. Now he is second-guessing himself.

I took my nclex in Georgia. I call 900 number but could not get through. It has been 3.5 weeks ago. Many says I have failed... but I am still hopeful. If If I have not received any results from State Board of Nursing, will my name still be posted on web page, for fail or pass? I can not move forward until I know what the results are... Is there anything else I can do?

I had the results free of charge the next day on the Minnesota State board of nursing and my official licence was in the mail and in my hand in 4 days! PS - I passed on my first try!! - Robin

I found out my results on the Minnesota Board of Nursing the very next day after taking the test and had my official license in my hand in 4 days. Minnesota nice even happens at the state level here!

I took the NYCLEX PN exam. The web posted results in 48Hours, My notification by mail was 2 weeks. I called the toll free telephone Number to the State Board of Nursing, also 48 hours after the exam was taken. This is in New York.

Many of these postings are not following SIMPLE directions....one even gave her I.D. number asking if she passed.

What concerns me is that these people can not follow simple directions, place, time and date of Nlex exam ect, AND they may become nurses?? Lord help us all.

I just would like to know if you passed. I took the NCLEX in Maryland even though it was for licensure in DE.
I took NCLEX on October 7, 2005 and received my results on October 11, 2005.

I live in Los Angeles and took the NCLEX PN on September 28th. I found out that I passed today 10/19/05 after waiting exactly 3 weeks. The BVNPT here in CA is extremely sloooooooow.

I took the test in 9/13/06 in Florida, and then two days after, I went to a website where I paid $7.95 to get the quick results. I wasn't successful, but I will try again.
