I am worried that I wont be able to get work. I am a grad of 2002 but just passed my boards this year and well I am still a new grad (right?) Anyway I am appling for jobs but really no good responses. I am putting in for med/surg because I want to get the hospital expierence (Is that a good choice to start?) Help me I need some advice does it make a difference if I grad in 2002 will this affect me? I am just worried I need employment and I didn't go through Nursing School not to get the opportunity to work!
Need some input PLEASE!!
Thanks!!!!!

What's my excuse then? I graduated in 1987!!! Anyway.. do not fret. With such a nursing shortage and as along as you're willing to be trained, don't worry! Good Luck!

LOOKING TO WORK IN MED/SURG

HI THERE.

SO I JUST WONDERED WHAT MADE YOU GO TO SCHOOL TO BECOME A NURSE!

AS FOR ME WHEN I WENT TO SCHOOL TO BECOME A NURSE THAT WAS JUST A STEPPING STONE UNTIL I CAN BECOME A SURGEON OR A PSYCHOLOGIST OR A CEO!

PERHAPS IF YOU CANNOT LOOK FOR A MED/SURG WORK TO TRY TO APPLY AS A CNA FIRST AND THEN AT LEAST YOU ARE IN A FACILITY AND WHEN THERE IS AN OPENING FOR RUN THEN YOU CAN APPLY!

BUT MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE ONTIME AND TAKE BREAKS REGULARLY AND ALSO DO A GOOD WORK SO THAT YOU WILL HAVE GOOD REVIEW FOR RAISES!

GOOD LUCK!

HI THERE.

I MAY HAVE ANSWERED YOU IN THE PAST!

BUT HERE IS MY OPINION IF I DID NOT ANSWER YOU YET!

TRY TO GET CNA JOB JUST TO PUT YOUR FOOT IN THE DOOR!

AND TRY GETTING WORK AT A SNF FIRST AND THEN LEARN AS MUCH AS V/S AND RX AND TX AND GETTING ORDERS FROM PROVIDERS AND DOING GOOD CHARTING AND SUMMARY OR PLANNING OF EITHER ADMIT OR DC!

THEN I SUGGEST THAT WHEN YOU GOT YOUR LICENSE FOR A WHILE AND THEN TRY TO TRANSFER TO A SISTER HOSPITAL OF THE SNF!

YOU LIKE THAT IDEA?

I LIKE IT TOO!

OH BOY I AM REALLY COOL WITH THIS STUFF AND I WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU FOR THE OPPORTUNITY!

GOOD LUCK!

MABUHAY!

OH YAH YOU GOT WEB CAM WITH IM?
