Hey guys my name is Jamie and I am 24 years old and lives in Southern California. I graduated from Nursing school Dec 2003 and got a job in the ER at a local hospital. Really excited that I was, I took the exam Jan 29th. To find out that I did not pass!
I was bummed out and depressed but this is a passion of mine and a dream. God has a plan for everyone and things happen for a reason. Its not because we are dumb because I did awesome in nursing school. Its just not our time to do what God wants. Its ok to be sad, I still am but I have to "rise up and walk" The Lord is right next to me and will be their for me when I attempt. Things might be put off like for example. I signed up for a university to start my masters. My ultimate goal is to be a Family Nurse practitioner. So these little set backs are defintely nothing compared to the awesome career I am going to have when I do pass.
I retake my exam late April around the 30th or beginning of May. If any of you have tips on how to pass the second time I would love to hear it. I wish you all the best of luck. You can do all things but fail in the eyes of God. Remember that God does have a plan for you and you will be an amazing nurse soon! Prayer works wonders!

Continue praying for the guidance.,you are right that there must be another reason why God did not give you your license yet.I took mine too last year and did not make it.,im so down and sad.,maybe its not the right time for me yet to pass.,but Im not losing Hope,i know God has a plan for us,so Keep the faith! I saw your message and experienced the same. I got a job and although haven't recieved the results know I didn't pass I stopped at 265. Can talk by email.

I recently took the NCLEX A FEW DAYS AGO AND JUST FOUND OUT THAT I HAD FAILED. I ALSO ANSWERED 265 ?'s. WHEN I SAT DOWN @ THE COMPUTER EVERYTHING WENT BLANKED I COULD'NT CONCENTRATE @ ALL. I FEEL SO BAD .I'VE NEVER FELT THIS LOW IN MY LIFE!!!!

I have 265 question ... I have not got my result yet, but I just took it on Sat. june 26..... how soon did you get your results.... I have everyone in my family praying...

I took my boards in OHIO NCLEX RN june 11,2004 and graduated ADN May 7,2004 I have been an LPN for 12 years and passed the first time for that I am also a Nationaly Registed Paramedic and I have FAILED the RN I guess I am too stupid to be an RN I dont know what to do life sucks for surehttp://www.network54.com/Realm/tmp/1089296189.JPG

When I finally passed the NCLEX (Didn't pass the first try either)I felt the lowest of the low but it made me rely on God more and trust him! I got my Job now but now there are other challenges I am facing so remember everything happens for a reason. Keep your great sense of faith!!

I think we have emailed each other before but i failed the boadrs 4 times and passed them onthe 5th time.... Just got my license in the mail yesterday..... I studied over the phone every night with someone I met off of this site and done practice questions, it stopped at 265 but i passed.
there is light at the end of the tunnell. Keep your head up and dont quit..

BUT I THINK THE BEST BET TO WORK JUST AFTER GRADUATING IS CONVALESCENT WHERE THE OLD FOLKS ARE -- YOU KNOW MAKING SURE THAT YOUR CNA TOOK THE DENTURES OUT OF THE MOUTH OR PERHAPS THE APPLESAUSE SNACK IS GIVEN OR A SLICE OF BANANA TO A PERSON WITH A LOOSE STOOL IS GIVEN!

NOW PERHAPS YOU CAN STUDY THE NCLEX REVIEW BOOK WITH A BUDDY FRIEND AND ANSWER QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS TOGETHER!

ALSO YOU CAN TRY TO BUY CD OR CASSETTE AND LISTEN TO THEM OR DVD AND YOU CAN WATCH WHILE YOU ARE COOKING!

THERE IS ALSO A REVIEW CLASS THAT YOU CAN ATTEND TO!

TRY TO WORK AS A CNA AND ASK YOUR DON IF YOU CAN READ THE CHART PENDING YOU ARE PREPARING TO TAKE YOUR RN NCLEX BOARD AND TRY TO GET IT IN CALIFORNIA!
