Hi, I have not seen any of Whitman's films. He was a rather portly man, and the popular magazines of the day were always doing cartoons of him. I am wondering if this china doll was actually a doll modelled on Mr Whiteman himself?? I'll ask film buffs if they remember seeing a doll of Whiteman in his films.
