I can confirm that Eddie Farge (tenor sax) is listed in recording sessions with George Elrick's band in 1937-38 (records issued by Columbia) and also in a band led by Billy Mayerl in a recording session in 1941 (Decca) where he may also be playing clarinet and accordion.
