  • Collecting Val Rosing

      Hello,

You might remember Val Rosing as a vocalist for Henry Hall, Jack Payne and Ray Noble, as well as the vocalist for smaller combos such as the Swing Stars, Rhythm Rascals and Earl Melvin and His Hawaiians. His most famous recordings were with Henry Hall, such as Teddy Bears' Picnic and Here's to the Next Time.

Rosing was my father in law, and his daughter, Claudia Russell and I are compiling a CD of some of this best and most popular work. We have found a decent amount of material with Henry Hall and Jack Payne but are looking for perhaps more obscure recordings before we make our final selection. If you have any 78s or digital transcriptions, please contact me at the email above.

      Thanks
      Bruce Kaplan
