UT feels that they are a leg above UF this year... and contrary to popular belief, it's not because SOS is gone. It's because we were the better team last year and, outside of FSU, have been UF's biggest thorn the last 4 years.
Do you really think Phil is losing any more sleep over UF than he is over UGa or Alabama? You can continue to hold to the years where you were dominant over us... and we'll continue to point to the fact that the teams have been essentially even since '98.
Don't forget the fact that we've won 3 out of the last 5 SEC easts, either.
I respect UF, SOS, and everybody associated with UF, but some of the smack from some UF fans is beginning to sound a little hollow. There are no more mind games. There is no more mental advantage and hasn't been since the night we beat you in 1998 with an "inferior team"... Dougie Johnson's words, not mine.
Now, can we all rally around our hatred of FSU, please?
