here's a little story that should make you feel better about it...

This is a true story. I can't remember the player, but some big-time, slugging future MLB player was in high school. He had scouts, and fans and folks from all over come to see him play.

When he came to the plate for his first at bat, the catcher of the opposing team said, "Hey, you know what? You see those scouts over there behind the fence in left field? They're saying you're not that great. They're saying you're conceited. They're saying you're not as good as you think you are."

The slugger responded, "You know what they're saying about you? Nothing.".

I love that story. Keep it in mind when someone says something bad about you.
