Forum 152494: In the '90 Sugar Bowl.....

when Bama played the Canes, we had a group of about 8 male Canes sitting right in front of us. Showed up drunk, loud and yelling profanities. It didnt bother me cause I was with my brother and a couple of his buddies, but the Canes were right above a large group of couples, some who appeared to be in their 60's. One gentleman asked this group of loud mouths to tone down the cussing and he got beer thrown at him for his trouble.

They were finally chased off by a Nawleans cop right before half time. The cop told this one fool that he better keep his mouth shut while sitting among so many Bama people, and the guy told the cop to Puck off. Not smart. The cop got in this dude's face and screamed something about running his ass in. They got the hint and moved on cause the cop stayed within eyeball distance.

Just an awful bunch of fans...period. Before the game, during the game and after the game. Thats why it was so sweet to run them off the field in the '92 Sugar Bowl.
