My kids 92 1200,We were allready planning on getting it down here for some service work and a tire.Then he calls last Saturday and he is dead on the side of the road between Watertown and Brookings.Said it started cutting out,tach jumped up and down,would idle when he pulled over,spit and sputter when he tried to go.Finally died.Would not spin over.Lights do not come on when the key is turned,nothing happens when you push the starter button.Got it home last night and the only thing I checked was the battery,showed 12.8 volts.
Hopeing to have some time to look more this afternoon.
The joys of electrical problems.Don't ya just love it?
Any words of wisdom will be appreiciated.
