Not wanting to get into any handling/back road racing situations here, but I can tell you I have piloted my Guzzi around the local curves at speeds that would have given me the scares on any of the Honda bikes I have ridden.
The problem is, 30 over the straighy road posted limit,not to mention the curve speed posted, could get me in serious trouble, depending which state I am in when the Man observes, thankfully, the correction curves I am practicing on, are a long ways from any sizable town, and close to county lines also, LEO seldom are seen there.
A no man's land of sorts, with a good visual for miles,and low traffic load.
Also a long way from the closest hospital, in case overconfidence lands me in the ditch.
Not advocating breaking the law, but there's no closed course any where near here.
