the XR is the best dirtbike, the DR is an actual Dual Sport, and the KLR is a streetbike.
THe DR250 works GREAT for me, but is way down on poer from the Yamaha. Just as good of a chassis, but if your skill level at offroad riding is good, the DR might be down on power for your needs. MY skill level at offroad riding is so low that the lower power is not a hinderance.
The HOnda will make a KILLER offroad machine, but even then is a bit porky on agressive riding. If it were me, and I had the funds, the WR Yamaha might well be the perfect bike, AND you can put a bigbore in it if need be, and bump it up to a 330.
