That's exactly what I was wondering, thanks. I haven't done any rallies with place cards, so the lamination idea for GT flags never occurred to me. Thanks Getnby for pointing the idea out. I hadn't found a solution for cloth flags which I like yet, but this could work. I do have to confess to the group that I have have seen a lot of crazy ideas in action in the past.
Last year I had some of the large plastic potato chip bag clips which stick to a frig with magnets.... worked good on the wife's metal tanked VFR... not good on my plastic and aluminum bikes.
